Front deck chill-out zone, where you can catch the sea breeze, seating picnic table style, BBQ fun, large cozy primary King bedroom and 2 Queen bedrooms, sleeps 6, well-equipped with large open concept kitchen dining and living area. Mighty kitchen with kitchen island seating, W/D, stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, woodstove, and ample living room seating with great views. 3 min drive to eateries shopping, truly a beach lover's dream! Parking for 3 vehicles in driveway, Pet Friendly, up to 2 pre-approved dogs, $50/per pet fee, NO CATS due to Owner Allergies.

This Ocean view property has immediate walking access to the beach, guests will need to brave the dunes, to get down to the expansive beach, tides permitting of course. NOTE: Depending on the weather you may need to find an alternate route to access the beach. The Oregon Coast weather and tides can change on a dime meaning the dunes can change as well, just know that access to the beach can at times be impeded. Views from the home are typically the same, and there for your enjoyment.

Overlooking gorgeous westward ocean views, gulls, and fishing boats. Enjoy a glass of wine watching the sunset or have your morning coffee with views of the ocean from the kitchen island! Large windows create a warm and open feeling while embracing the views! This thoughtfully updated home is comfortable, bright, clean, and spacious with modern furnishings and amenities creating the perfect Coastal getaway!

MAIN LIVING ROOM has 3 comfy couches, with pillows and blanket throws to snuggle up on those windy & rainy coastal days. Gorgeous views from the kitchen, and a plenty of windows in the living area make it a nice place to relax and take in the scenery! Up the coziness factor by lighting a fire in the woodstove, you will need to bring your own wood. There is additional seating for up to 4 in the dining room at the dining table, and island seating for 4 as well. Entertainment center, equipped w/flat screen Smart TV set up for streaming with WIFI to enjoy an evening catching up on your favorite episodes or snuggle in and read a book while watching the sunset. Just down the driveway from the home is a path to the dunes that overlooks the beach with front row seating to watch the sunset. There is a bench on the dune to lean on. If you are feeling adventurous, we provide folding chairs and you can trek down to the beach. Just know that easy access is not guaranteed, think of it as another adventure among the others you will have in the area.

MODERN KITCHEN carries the coastal vibe and large picture window above the sink allows spectacular view of the surf, and lots of light to fill the kitchen, even when the sun is not out. This kitchen is spacious with lots of room to move around with plenty of countertop space and with everything you need to make your own meal, bake cookies, steam crab! The kitchen is equipped with all new Stainless-Steel appliances, Full size refrigerator, Ceramic cooktop/stove, microwave oven, and many pots and pans. Bring your own favorite coffee pods to use in the Keurig drip coffee maker or favorite bean or ground coffee if you like using a French Press, we will supply enough ground coffee to get your started. Provided is everything you need to make eating efficient and enjoyable! Washing Dishes or Clothes is a breeze there is also a dishwasher and full-size washer & dryer to help keep dishes and clothing clean!

LARGE DIDING ROOM and table seats up to 4 for intimate meals or a special occasion or seating at the countertop on the large kitchen island. Plenty of light pours into the space from the large and numerous windows make the space bright and light allowing for westward view of the sky and surf. Make it a family night, there are an array of games in the bench at the end of the table so you can play to your hearts content.

There are 3 Bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms with a total of 1278 Sq Ft.

BEDROOM #1: The first bedroom features a Comfortable Queen-sized bed with high quality linens and pillows. This room is small and cozy and there is limited space for guests’ personal items. Large windows bring in sunshine and shades can be drawn for privacy.

The main bathroom has everything one needs to get ready for a day at the beach or exploring the town. It has a double head shower, towel dryer and vanity, Quality linens, shampoo-conditioner-bodywash, paper products, and a hairdryer are provided for guest’s convenience.

BEDROOM #2: The Primary Bedroom features high ceilings, a King sized adjustable bed, raise the head or the legs. This bed is super cozy with high quality linens and pillows. The room also has a small lounging space with comfortable love seat and Smart TV of its own. Large windows to let in the light on those dreary and rainy days, and draw the shades for privacy. There are doors leading out to the front deck along with a couple chairs for lounging on a warm day. There is also the washer and dryer in the room for your convenience along with a small amount of detergent for cleaning cloths.

BEDROOM #3: The 3rd bedroom has a Comfortable Queen-sized bed with high quality linens and pillows. This room is small and cozy and there is limited space for guests personal items. Large windows bring in sunshine and shades can be drawn for privacy.

The Full bath is light and bright, with skylight and plenty of light. There is a large shower with double heads, a towel warmer, vanity, and a hairdryer. High quality linens provided.

The 1.5 bath is compact and functional, stocked with everything you need to freshen up, there is a vanity and storage space for personal bath items. Quality bath linens and a hairdryer are provided for guests’ convenience.

THE FRONT DECK has space perfect for being outdoors and enjoying the breeze, barbequing or just taking in the coastal air. Seating for 4. There’s a BBQ Grill for those nice summer days. This outdoor space is the perfect place to take in sit back and enjoy the coastal air!

The property is located just North of Rockaway Beach and City Center. Parking is limited, up to 3 cars parked tandem in the driveway, there is an additional space in the front of the home but please do not block the mailboxes, or driveways of neighboring homes. Walk up the driveway and you have a view of the ocean from the entry door.

BEACH ACCESS: The beach is not always easily accessed as the coastal tides can change the dunes, making it easy or sometimes difficult to get to the beach. You will need to get there by foot, and you have to be a bit adventurous at times. Of course, you can reach the beach from other points but you will need to explore. We provide 4 foldable chairs. Host favorite is building a fire on the beach, when tide allow of course! Be sure to learn the rules of beach fires before you go.



Guest Access:

Guests have access to the entire home and the private yard, as well as access through the neighbor driveway to the dune.



The Neighborhood:

The House is located in the City of Rockaway Oregon. Rockaway is a coastal town that sits off Hwy 101, Main Highway running North and South and sits between the cities of Tillamook, Pacific & Lincoln city to the South and Manzanita, Seaside & Astoria to the North. It is a popular Summer vacation area with access to the ocean, dunes, Lake Lytle, Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site, and the Rockaway Beach Old Growth Nature Reserve, it is an outdoor adventurer’s dream. Bird watching, deep sea and lake fishing, hiking, canoeing, boating, swimming, off-roading, and camping are among the many activities Rockaway has to offer. Explore, adventure, and experience this one-of-a-kind convergence of nature.

This small town’s strategic location on the Coast reflects Oregon’s diverse terrain. Visitors to Rockaway can experience all of the Great Outdoors in one place. For those seeking outdoor adventure, Rockaway might just have it all: lakes, sand dunes, a large forest, and the ocean. There’s enough to fill months, let alone a weekend getaway. Visit the South Jetty of the Nehalem Bay for crabbing, fishing, bird watching and boat rentals. The kids will love the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad running May-September, Lake Lytle has fun for everyone, known for calm ad shallow waters, great place to kayak with the kids. Get ready to explore the dunes, explore Rockaway’s small town charm, go on endless amounts of hikes, watch for whales, take a walk or just relax — the perfect getaway on the coast!



Getting Around:

A car is necessary. Everything is convenient to the home including grocery stores and restaurants, but just out of walking range. If you are from out of state, we suggest flying into Portland and head west on Hwy 6 to Tillamook and on up the coast to Rockaway.
