Escape to Apiary Cottage, a peaceful 3-bedroom, 3-bath retreat set on more than five private acres in Virginia`s scenic countryside. Conveniently located just 15 minutes from the Virginia Horse Center and 20 minutes from downtown Lexington, Washington & Lee University, and VMI, it`s an ideal home base for equestrian events, family visits, and relaxing getaways. Enjoy tranquil views, a fire pit, a fully equipped kitchen, spacious living areas, and ample parking, including space for horse trailers.

The property is a relatively new listing and we were a bit apprehensive because there wasn’t a lot of reviews but all in all we were very happy with the house. It’s a three bedroom and every bedroom has its own bath. The house was very clean and minimalistic without extra clutter. The beds were comfortable the bathrooms were perfect. There were deer on the property on several mornings and you have a feeling of seclusion even though you’re pretty close to civilization. If I were to nitpick, I would say some of the light switches didn’t quite make sense but we figured it out pretty quickly. We would stay here again.
