2 BR 2 BA, Fenced BackYard, WIFI with streaming capability, BBQ & Fire Pit, Poker Table, Darts and a Cornhole game. House is decorated with a coastal vibe to ensure you relish your coastal experience. There are little pieces of the coastal area all over the house. There is LOTS of SPACE INSIDE and OUT.

Charming 2 bdrm 2 bath coastal cottage nestled between Aransas National Wildlife Refuge & Goose Island State Park. Area is known for great birding, fishing, hunting, and close by Beach Excursions to the clean Rockport or Port Aransas beaches. There is a public boat ramp 2 blocks away, and another boat ramp at Goose Island State Park.

Quiet, heavily treed area and only a 2 block walk to St. Charles Bay. The cottage is known for having wildlife sightings. It is a 1.2 mile walk or ride to the Big Tree (1000+ year old Live Oak) along the way you will experience wildlife, fishing, kayaking, biking, birdwatching, and possibly an alligator sighting. Endangered whooping cranes nest a block away along with so many more birds to see, so bring your camera. The Aransas Wildlife Refuge is directly across St. Charles Bay, and the refuge visitor center is a short drive away, and well worth the trip. This is one of the largest migratory bird paths in the United States.

The fishing is incredible in this area, because there is not as much pressure on the fish as further south from here. There are multiple fishing piers and shoreline spots in the area, with Guides for fishing or duck hunting available upon request. The Cottage is Professionally Cleaned with central air/heat, sleeps up to 6. Master bedroom has queen bed, guest bedroom has queen bed, and in the den a queen futon. (Air mattresses in the closet) Living area has 55” Flat Screen Smart TV, Cable, WIFI, Den with Futon and Chair, and Dining Room that will seat 6. We also have a fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, range, refrigerator/freezer, toaster, and coffee maker. (Coffee Supplied)

Outside features include front porch with bench, and back patio with 3 chairs. We also have a small Boat Barn with a 4 chair sitting area, and BBQ grill, Poker table, Cornhole and Darts. There is a good sized, privacy fenced in backyard for your dog(s). Home is on well water.

Well cared for property and owner (Tony) is very accessible and prompt to respond if something does go wrong. Very nice, quiet neighborhood and neighbors are very accepting of temporary folks. If your interests lean toward outdoor activities such as fishing, birding or country like living it would be hard to find a better location.

Dog trip

Great place for dogs, there is a pretty big fenced in yard. Great wifi for those that have to work. Very clean and they have just about every thing that you need.

We had a wonderful time and the home had so many amanitas. We all had a great time and there was something to do for everyone at the home from darts to walking and sight seeing or just relaxing on the patio. We had a wonderful visit and absolutely enjoyed the ability to relax and unwind at this spacious cottage that had more than enough room for everyone.

Perfect for a Family Vacation

The house was clean and comfortable. The location is quiet and convenient to Rockport/Fulton. If you are looking for a place to take the family and enjoy Rockport Beach or a day of bay fishing, this is a great place to stay. We brought our 2 dogs and they enjoyed their stay as well. The backyard is quite large and the surrounding neighborhood is great for taking walks. Just be ready for the Deer.

Home sweet home

Tony’s place is great. My husband, 2 daughters and I had a very nice stay. We used it as home base and went fishing one day and to the beach the next day. It has everything you need to cook and hang out and enjoy yourself. The house has a warm, familiar feel to it and we especially loved the way the kitchen is outfitted. If you have a dog bring it! See you soon!!

Amazing Stay

What an amazing quiet community, free roaming deer everywhere. The water and boar ramp are lest then a 2-minute drive. The house is everything you need for a weekend or weeklong stay! Well-stocked with all the essentials. Purified drinking water in a 5-gallon dispenser, so no need to bring cases of bottled water.

Nice location, perfect fishing stay

We didn’t stay at the house because the ac was not working and it was 90 degrees inside. However, the home owner was very helpful and apologetic for the issues with the ac. Would recommend the location for fishing or kayaking.

Great weekend in Lamar

This property is perfect. Plenty of space, unbelievably quiet, and comfortable. The only sounds... the wind chimes and the whooping cranes. Three blocks from St. Charles Bay and just off the southern edge of the Wildlife Refuge... it's a great location and a great property. We'll be back.

Great property!

We stayed for 6 weeks. The house was great with nautical themed decorations. It has a huge fenced in backyard and was great for the dogs. The neighborhood is nice and the traffic is low on the surrounding roads. Great place to take some walks. It is a fairly short walk to the bay (1/2 mile or so). There are a couple of ponds close where you can sometimes see alligators sunning themselves. We typically did a a 2.5 mile loop over to the “big tree”. Looking forward to staying again in the future.
