☀️ Cabin Size & Layout: Rockwood Hills is a cozy 700 sq. ft. classic Maine camp-style cabin designed for guests who plan to spend their days enjoying Moosehead Lake and the surrounding outdoors. The layout is efficient and comfortable for families or small groups, offering a traditional Maine cabin experience rather than a large modern home.
☀️ Sleeping Arrangements: The cabin can accommodate up to 6 guests. Two bedrooms inside the main cabin each feature king beds. The loft sleeping area includes four twin beds accessed by ladder and is best suited for kids or teens due to lower ceiling height. A queen bed is located in a separate bedroom with its own exterior entrance, requiring guests to briefly step outside to move between that room and the main cabin — a common feature in traditional Maine camp additions.

Enjoyable Lakefront Stay!

We had a wonderful stay over the Fourth of July holiday. The cabin is very clean and has everything you need for an enjoyable stay. We loved the lakefront location and the convenience of renting a boat from Bob next door! The cabin can feel a bit tight/small at times but we would still recommend as there is ample outdoor space to enjoy! Thank you!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. In the morning the neighbors are doing construction. But we're a bunch of city girls and were able to tune out the noise. The views are priceless. The amount of stars we saw at night was phenomenal! It was perfect! And we loved it!

Quiet Lake Getaway

We loved our stay at Rockwood Hills. The location was perfect, as it was right on the lake (amazing & unobstructed lake views), but right off the main road (easy to find), close to a convenience store, but not too close to neighboring cabins, so it has the 'away from it all' feel. The cabin was cozy and had all necessary amenities for cooking, which we opted for. Our kids fell in love with the loft space, and our dogs loved the spacious yard to run around. Check-in & check-out were simple, and instructions were clear. We are already ready to go back!
