Kitty Corner

Service was excellent. The staff was super friendly! There were some kitty cats living around the outside of the building and they were so cute and sweet too. The shower was nice and hot with good pressure, and the air conditioner worked great. It was a perfect spot for what I needed (a quick stay for a family funeral). Check in/out was quick and easy. Again, the front desk staff were all very polite, courteous, efficient, and helpful. The price was right too. Loved the cats!

We were told, “sorry we don’t have any clean towels” and then received 2 wash cloths each to dry off with. Stray cats everywhere and came in to our room, roaches everywhere.

Horrible Stay

When we checked in, the room we reserved was not available because the door was broken. We were given a different room, but things only got worse from there. Many of the guests appear to be long-term stays, and when we arrived, several had their doors wide open, music blasting, and people running in and out. We specifically requested a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of smoke. The blankets had burn holes, there were dead bugs all over the floor, and black mold could be seen throughout the room. The countertop was dirty and hadn’t been wiped down, and the mini refrigerator was leaking onto the floor. Sleep was nearly impossible. From midnight until around 4:30 a.m., it sounded like there was a party going on in the room above us — nonstop noise, loud banging, and what honestly sounded like people falling through the floor. To top it off, stray cats were roaming all over the property. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The experience was unsanitary, unsafe, and extremely uncomfortable
