check in was a nightmare... one hour to do it. some computer problem (just guessing... I never received an explanation) made me wait over one hour to get the key to my room... the person at the front desk was trying her best making phone calls to different people. In the morning, by 7:30 AM, we had the cleaning crew trying to open up my door to make the bed... I were just waking up!!

This hotel was spotless, and my room was spacious and quiet. Hotel staff were friendly. All attractions (Crystal Bridges Museum, The Peel Museum & Botanical Gardens, Compton Gardens & Arboretum, Osage Park, Walmart Museum) I visited & the downtown were within a 15 minute drive and there were good restaurants & coffee bars close by (The Buttered Biscuit, Kennedy Coffee). I liked that I could also easily drive a scenic highway from this hotel to the beautiful Hobbs State Park. The downtown had some nice art galleries and great restaurants. All attractions I visited were unusual, artistic, beautiful, and FREE, even parking!

The desk staff was very friendly, but overall the trip was so bad I just left on the 2nd night. The carpets were wet, the room was humid and smelled extremely musty. Definitely do not recommend.

Woke up in the early morning with bed bugs in the bed. We were bite on our backs and leg. My fiance killed the bed bug that was on her back. We told the front desk worker who was rude, not helpful, and not concerned. However, the front desk worker that came in for the 7am was very helpful and displayed great customer service. The general manager followed up with us and we met in person. She was compassionate, professional, and had great customer service. Overall, we had a terrible experience and changed hotels immediately, but ended with great service from the general manager.
