A hidden gem
Alessandro’s place is a hidden gem and a great find! A stone’s throw away from the Vatican and If you plan to visit the Basilica, Vatican Musems/Sistine Chapel, climb the Basilica dome, roam around the Vatican gardens and explore Rome. His place is located on the 2nd floor so you have an amazing view of the hustle and bustle of people and cars below you. Windows when closed create the quiet place of peace and you can keep it open to experience Rome’s warm air and noise if you would like.. it is amazing for a foreigner like me and my family. There is a bus stop below you that will bring and connect to trains(if needed) to tourist places, like Fountain de Trevi, Pantheon, Spanish steps, Colosseum and others. Restaurants are also lined up on the bottom of his building..there is no reason to enjoy Italian food every meal :-)and one or two grocery stores. And you know how they say, do not buy drinking water in Rome, it is available from spouts everywhere in the city, there is one across the street! We tried it and we highly recommend! Just being your own disposal containers! :-)
We might have been his first booking and would like to provide an honest feedback to improve the water temperature in the shower. It would go from scalding hot to cold in a second and will need looking into to prevent burn injuries.. other than this, Alessandro’s place is a must! He is very helpful and responsive. We hope that his business flourish!! God bless and Grazie Mille!!
