Loved the hotel. The location is across from the Tiber River, very close to a walking bridge into Vatican City. The room was great, breakfast was fine, everything except no eggs, but lovely bakery products and yogurt. The staff were all wonderful. One of our favourite hotels ever.

I can't say enough for Augustana House! It was outstanding--from the staff (welcoming, friendly, most helpful), to the location (a 15-20 minute walk from many/most attractions and away from the crowds), to the cleanliness, condition and comfort of the room (the bed and shower were excellent and the bedding and towels were upscale). The breakfast buffet was very good with eggs, cereal, breads, meats and cheeses, fruit and various pasteries. This was the best hotel I've had in Rome when on a personal trip and it's a very good value. I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

The staff first and foremost were the BEST. lovely and accommodating. Room was great—clean, comfy, well lit. Plenty of space. Comforter amazing. Good air conditioning. Amazing location. And the staff!!!

The location was fantastic for walking to the Vatican to the west and the Colluseum, Panthenon, Trevi & Spanish Steps to the east. Also a little supermarket and lots of restaurants close by. Next to a busy road which was quieter after rush hour. Surprised by no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, however the room was large, well kept and had a very comfortable bed. Also with a modern ensuite bathroom. Friendly staff who very kindly allowed us to store our bags there before and after checking in and out. A great stay, thank you.

Perfect location in Rome to stay, central to all major historical sites. We walked everywhere and felt very safe. There are numerous restaurants located close to the Hotel for lunch or dinner. The hotel has the best staff who go out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding with freshly made pastries, eggs, meats, cheese and fruit. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

This was a fun little property conveniently located in Rome. This was one of the only hotels where we did taxi to and from the train station, but otherwise, we walked almost everywhere from the Trevi Fountain to the Vatican, to the Colosseum, to Trastevere. The room was nice and clean. The only downside we experienced was our room was right next to the front door and the desk, and that meant a lot of noise as people checked in and out.

We were placed in an annex room vs the main building which was fine. The rooms are small but well appointed with a nice size bathroom. We had a balcony overlooking the Tiber River. It’s a busy road in front but then all of the core of Rome is super busy. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were within a 2 min walk to a grocery store. 20 mins to the Vatican, 30-35 from the Colosseum, 15 min to Trevi fountain, Spanish Steps and the Pantheon. The breakfast included was great!!! Lots of choices. Would stay here again.
