This was a really fantastic place to stay, perfect location to be far enough from the city but not too far to travel in each day. The pool was always clean and always had a really nice atmosphere around it! All the staff spoke good English and were friendly. There’s a real international mix of guests, including young travellers and families. There’s a huge supermarket across the road that sells everything you could need!! It was a really great place to spend a week with 2 children!

4 nights stay and not one clean. Had to ask for toilet roll! Reception was not the most helpful either. We tried to book our transfers and was told ‘it’s nothing to do with us, they just transfer our customers. You should have done it 24hrs earlier. Sorry.’ No help to sort something else.

Nice enough

Our stay was ok but some of the staff were a bit rude. Room was very basic and bed was broken. Not enough activities on site

Poor quality stay

This was stated at 2.9miles away from Rome. It took a bus ride, 2 trains, another bus ride and a very expensive cab to get us there. Partially our ignorance, mostly poor information on how to get there. We called several times for directions with poor advice given. It is actually a 30 min bus ride to Vatican City and much longer to Rome. The rooms are small. So small, we had to perfect the sideways walk! The children said the bed was the worst they had slept in. The neighbours were so noisy, most of the night they were singing, shouting and screaming. For both nights we stayed. The staff were ok. The cleaning side were particular ly good and prompt. The towels are weird. They are like think sheets, rather than towelling. The facilities in the chalet were worn. Curtains had marks and stains on. The toilet was stained and so was the seat. The tap in the kitchen dripped constantly.

Terrible, no amenities, bring your earplugs

I visited on the 9th of April 2013 for 2 nights. We were disappointed to find that there is no pool, it has been dug up, there is no volleyball, this was located next to the pool. The only amenity available as advertised is table tennis, and free internet. The site was full of school teenagers on trips. On our first night, our neighbours from a German school trip were partying until 2am. The noise on the site is unbearable, with teenagers getting drunk and running around the site. The only way we slept was by using earplugs. We arranged to change bungalow the second night. My 10 year old daughter was so distraught with the noise, that she complained to the management. We also had the boys from school trip, standing on our table, peeking into the open toilet window of girls bungalow, which adjoined ours, the toilet windows are next to each other. Completely unacceptable behavior, when I have a 10 year old daughter. The school trips seem to be unsupervised, although staff accompany the students, and security staff did nothing to address the noise issues at 2am. Also, the photographs are completely misleading. The pool has been dug up and the only activity available is table tennis. The site, is however, very close to the railway station, and easy to walk to. The staff are friendly and helpful, but this did not make up for the constant noise, so I cannot recommend this as a place to stay, and wouldn't stay again.

good value

I stayed one week in febuary and I had a clean room with everything working perfectly except the shower pressure was really low but overall the room was great for such a cheap price. All the staff were friendly and helpful and the food at the restaurant was delicious.
