The hotel is on a side street, about a 3 minute walk from the Campo di Fiori. It is in a fully renovated old building. Our room was completely modern, but its decorated ceiling dated from the 19th century--charming!
Ludovica, who managed the hotel, was incredibly helpful, in many ways. She speaks excellent English (and we do not speak Italian at all). She found an English-speaking doctor for my wife, who needed some medical care while we were in Rome.
A couple of things to note (not problems, but things to be aware of). The hotel is on the first floor (European numbering) with the entrance on the ground floor. There is an elevator, but it goes from a landing, so you have to walk up a few steps to get to it. And taxis do not stop directly in front of the hotel but rather in a little plaza about 50 yards away, to the right.
That plaza had a friendly outdoor cafe (Gammi 7) where we ate breakfast every morning, and about 100 yards to the left there was a restaurant that served excellent pasta, both regular and gluten-free.
The hotel is in a lively area. The Piazza Navone and the Pantheon are each about a 10-15 minute walk away. The Colosseum is about a 1/2 hour walk away.
