Recently and accurately restructured (cold/warm air conditioning), this apartment full of light, elegantly furnished, is made of well separated rooms:

- a large double bedroom (with a King-size bed), with all comforts;
- a cozy living room (with a double sofa-bed or 2 single beds), with a balcony enjoying a view of St. Peter’s Dome;

We loved our 4 nights here. Central to everything. We walked to St. Peter’s Basilica and easily across the river. Close to cafés, grocery stores, patisseries, and local restaurants. The apartment was spacious, bright, clean, with a full kitchen and lovely sitting room/ dining area. Big, well lit bathroom with a huge vanity area and excellent mirrors. Very comfortable bed. The antique elevator was a treat which took us to the 4th door. Character, comfort, charm, and fabulous location.Giovanni was the ultimate gracious host.

Giovanni was a most gracious host. The apartment is very spacious and equipped with a full kitchen, living area and bedroom. Being an enthusiastic walker I found it to be close to everything I wanted to see and do. It is minutes away from the Vatican on one side and about a 20 minute walk max in the opposite direction to the Spanish steps etc. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

The location of this property was superb. There were great restaurants and shops within a block or two in any direction. Twenty-minute walk to the Vatican, Pantheon, and Borghese Palace. Quiet street and safe as could be. I had to use four different keys to get into my apartment which was reassuring.

From the airport pickup, to the drop off, it couldn’t have been better. Giovanni gave us some great restaurants and fruit stores to go to. This was our first trip to Rome and the City was wonderful and everyone we met was so friendly. The location was perfect, walked to Vatican City, and walked to the Spanish Steps. We loved the flat. It was perfect for our needs, and its location was ideal for walking to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Pantheon, etc. Twice we took a taxi from Cavour Piazza (about 2 blocks from flat) to get to early morning activities near the Colosseum, but then gradually walked our way back to the flat enjoying churches and sites along the way. The flat is in a quieter neighborhood of Rome with a small grocery store nearby. Giovanni, the friendly owner, greeted us when we arrived and stayed in touch during our stay. We have friends who are considering a trip to Rome and we will definitely be recommending this flat to them. Note: If you are use to having a microwave to heat up leftover food from restaurants, there is not one on site, but an oven and stovetop are provided.

Giovanni is a very good host, helpful and courteous. His place is very clean, the amenities are as described and in good working order. The location is perfect for visiting the city of Rome and the Vatican. We would easily come back.

Giovanni could not have been more helpful or accommodating. The location is great as it does not feel touristy but many sites are within reasonable walking distance. A well served taxi rank is only 5 minutes walk. For restaurants around the corner.

Great location and attentive host

My husband and I loved our stay at Casa Visconti. The location is great with many restaurants and cafés nearby. We walked to all the major attractions. The furthest was the Colosseum at around 43 minutes. Giovanni was a wonderful host and communication with him is immediate.
