Steer clear - rundown apartment and dishonest host

1) There was no WiFi available whatsoever during our stay, even though the property was advertised with free Wifi. We had to find an internet cafe to get Wifi. 2) We requested the host provide a credit to pay for the Wifi fees we incurred, and they refused. 3) This is not a "luxury" apartment. Appliances didn't work and there was barely any hot water 4) Someone showed up 2 hours before check-out and tried to clean the apartment while we were still sleeping.

A wonderful home away from home. Convenient for public transport, yet out of the hustle and bustle of the touristy spots. Marco and Sissi are attentive hosts who respond very promptly to messages. Just make sure you budget extra, even though Expedia will assure you in writing that all the expenses are covered by your booking. When you arrive you are expected to pay a cleaning fee and the city tax, and Expedia will deny that they ever said the booking is fully paid, even though you have it in writing.

Two weeks in Rome!

Be aware, the photos are of multiple different apartments. Be sure to ask which apartment you are getting prior to booking. I was disappointed to find out after we arrived that we did not have a balcony or a more modern washroom. Other than that, the building is in a great location. The owner, Marcos, is a joy and his assistant, Sissi, is wonderful. Many attractions are within walking distance. There is a subway station and bus stops near by for further attractions. In the apartment is a comfortable bed in the bedroom plus a small fold out bed. There is tv in the livingroom and bedroom (tv is 90% Italian). The small kitchenette has dishes, pots, pans, espresso maker, fridge, washing machine (hanging dryer only, no electric dryer). Across the street there is a grocery store, a pizzaria and a cafe. All very handy. We would definitely recommend staying here.

Located just up from Lepanto Metro stop, this was an ideally located apartment. A supermarket is around the corner and there are several bars nearby. The only 'issue' is you are close to the metro line, which means minor rumbling from the trains, but this didn't disturb us. Sissi met us promptly on arrival, talked us through all the necessary information and even recommended a couple of places to eat and visit - both excellent. Communication between us and Sissi was quick and efficient and I couldn't have asked for a nicer stay.

Happy Stay...Happy 2 Stay!

Our welcome both before and when we arrived was excellent. Things stayed just as good throughout our stay. For what we needed, this apartment was ideal. It is close to central Rome and right by the banks of the Tiber. All places in Rome are accessible from this apartment, and if you don't want to walk everywhere as we did, a metro station is within easy striking distance. There is a well stocked supermarket just across the road. The apartment block itself is above the underground and we were aware of the rumble of trains. For us this was not an issue, (and at rush hour there are the horns of car drivers too! This is Rome after all)! You would need to consider your own noise tolerance. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, well equipped for cooking and spacious. Hopefully, it will be available when we next wish to visit Rome because we would certainly look to stay here again and it will be our first choice.

Lage top, nicht ganz sooo sauber, vor allem die Fenster bzw Einrichtung teilweise sehr veraltet zb die Küche und das Bad, Ausstattung der Küche hätte etwas mehr und hochwertiger sein können. In Deutschland wäre das nie ein luxuriöses Apartment gewesen. Nach Anruf kam sofort jemand um uns einzulassen.

De ligging is mooi centraal. Metrostation om de hoek maar alles is lopend te bereiken als je wil. Supermarkt om de hoek, wat erg prettig is voor het ontbijt. (er is ook een bakker). Helaas heeft de accomodatie geen balkon of buitenmogelijkheid. Hiervoor moet je echt het appartement verlaten. Onder het complex loopt de metrolijn en dit geeft een wat lichte trilling maar is door ons niet als hinderlijk ervaren. De buurt is verder rustig en in de directe omgeving zijn eetgelegenheden te vinden. Het interieur en de benodigdheden van het appartement is wat verouderd en kan wel een update ondergaan. De communicatie met de eigenaresse was prima. Prettige dame die bij aankomst je van toeristische tips voorziet.

El apartamento está muy bien situado, limpio, con todo lo necesario para hacer tu comida si quieres. La estación de metro a menos de 5 minutos y un supermercado a 2 min. El aire acondicionado es fantástico así como la wifi. Dispone de mantas por si las necesitas y los dueños son encantadores. La zona es muy tranquila.
