We are Canadians who stayed 2 weeks at this hotel and so happy we did. This hotel offered amazing staff, great atmosphere, fantastic cappuccinos and espresso’s. The breakfast had an abundance of selection. Eggs, bacon the usual and of course Italian style. We would share a bottle of wine on the terrace at night and enjoy the view. We were there Nov 29 until Dec 13. We would say the best time to visit Italy. We selected this hotel because it was away from the city center and more into the local area. Things were much cheaper especially groceries at PAM local. Favorite restaurant near by was I Belcastro about 10 mins away and the best margarita pizza you will ever taste. The bus is very close and the number of bus that gets you everywhere is bus 62 or 60. Get a bus pass to save money at the local station. But if you want to burn off calories and take a great walk, we waked about 3 to 5km a day. You won’t even notice that you walked that far because it’s a pleasant walk. So try both. If your like us and don’t want to stay in hotels in the heart of town where a billion people are than choose Hotel Delle Civette.

The room was clean and well equipped. It was cleaned every day. There were fresh towels in the bathroom. Hotel is located next to the beautiful park with birds singing! What a great atmosphere! We also liked the breakfast, so yummy with a variety of food to choose from. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, who likes a quiet neighborhood, away from the tourist noise.

We just left Rome and our Hotel was in very nice neighborhood close to Metro line B Bologna which is 9 min walk from hotel to connect us to city center. Beds were very comfortable we had 3 twin bed room with 2 long closets for all three of our clothes nice medium size bathroom and staff at front desk GREAT CREW

This hotel was absolutely amazing! My sister and I loved the location. Although it’s a bit outside the main city centre, the subway was only about an 8-minute walk away, which made getting around Rome super easy. We even caught the high-speed train just a short 5-minute metro ride away! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful—they arranged a private airport transfer for both our arrival and departure, which made everything so convenient. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of options: cappuccinos, a variety of croissants and pastries, eggs, bacon, bread, and more! Everything was fresh and tasty. The cleanliness of this place really stood out. I’m quite particular about that, and I can honestly say the rooms were spotless. Housekeeping came by daily to clean and provide fresh towels, which was greatly appreciated. There were also lots of great and affordable food spots within walking distance—like Mamma Pizza, Alice Pizza, and a fantastic gelato shop. As Canadians, we found the prices really reasonable compared to other parts of Europe. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely come back!

The breakfast menu was perfect, everything that you would or could need for breakfast. The staff were very helpful with tips on where to eat and also get the best gelato. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to any other travelers!!!

Quiet and Clean Place to Stay

The hotel experience was good. Good dine in breakfast and great staff. Very clean overall and close to the Bologna train station! However, i would not stay pass 9pm since the walk back to the hotel was dark, not much light at the entrance of the hotel.

This property was in newly renovated condition unlike any other I have ever stayed at in Rome. It had been part of the original Villa Torlonia and is located outside of the noisy, crowded, touristy sites which made it pleasant. If there was any drawback it was there were not many restaurants close by so access to the Metro, buses and taxis will be necessary.
