My husband and I stayed one night. The hotel is nice, but the room a bit outdated for the money we spent. However, it is conveniently situated in walkable distance to many attractions in Rome, close to restaurants.

We will stay here again and recommend it

The hotel is central and close to local businesses and restaurants, not far from the Colosseum (10 minute walk). Other points of interest are a little further (about 30+ minutes to the Pantheon, for example) but navigable on foot if you enjoy walking. Important to note that the hotel is only a 5 minute walk from the train station. The area is also safe and quiet. It's a little less busy than the bigger touristy areas. There are many nice restaurants/bars/coffee shops in the area. There is a small, well stocked, supermarket next door. As a nice surprise, we were assigned a room that had 2 independent bedrooms in one, separated by a door: one bedroom with a king bed, and the other bedroom with 2 twin beds. Needless to say, we had all the space you can wish for. The room was well maintained, with a traditional decor. Most importantly, it was CLEAN. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were good, thick and plenty; hence we slept great. The bathroom looked to be relatively newly refurbished. It was a little tight- to be expected considering the age of the city and building - but nothing that took away from the overall satisfaction. Yet, the bathroom had all the comforts you need. Air conditioning worked well and was quiet, and we didn't hear much from any guests in the nearby rooms nor from the outside. Street noise, with the windows open, is not bad. The street where the hotel is located is fairly quiet. Best part of the hotel is the staff: genuine, friendly, helpful.

Don't miss a hidden gem!

All around this was a wonderful stay. Lovely intimate hotel in the older part of Rome. Plenty of restaurants, groceries, cafes, etc. along with the old and ancient sites within easy walk. Plus a complimentary bottle of wine! Would definitely return in future.

The rooms are comfortable, clean, with all necessary amenities. Breakfast is delicious and very well served. The terrace is a lovely place but the waiter attending it is the worse. Both times I went he never came to take my order, once I had to go into the back of the bar to look for him. And both times I wanted a capresse salad he said they did not have tomatoes. No tomatoes in Italy is hard to believe.

The hotel was very clean and user friendly! The staff was accommodating, helpful and knowledgeable. Their buffet breakfast was delicious! We also enjoyed the rooftop bar. This hotel is so centrally located, you could do the hop on, hop off bus tour with ease. There were two restaurants the were recommended and delicious as well. They were Taverna Urbana and La Mela D'Oro. Both were amazing and within walking distance of the hotel. If your planning on exploring Rome, this is the hotel for you!
