44 bus into Marcello Theatre and historic centre stopped virtually outside. Late night flights may mean a 40 euro taxi journey from Fiumicino airport. 5 min walk to tram stop and other bus routes and about 40 mins on bus to Vatican or Marcello Theatre. Hotel is a converted school and in a mainly residential area so quiet at night. Would say 3 star rather than 4 stars but was good value and staff were polite.

Not a 4 star hotel

Hotel v99 it is nice as a 2 star hotel. Evverithing had wear and tear or it was broken. Also they charge you 10 euro/night/dog and 6 euro surgiorno that they dont tell you about only after they take your money so you cant cancel. Location its not bad and staff was ok.

Overall a good experience. I only stayed for two nights since I was coming back from travelling Europe, but if you're looking to be close to Rome's main attractions this is a little far out. I saw quite a few buses though so it shouldn't be too difficult finding your way there, or even using Uber/Taxi. The hotel is super clean, extremely friendly staff. The breakfast was pretty decent- they have the basics, I enjoyed that they had lots of fruit too. My main issue I had with this hotel was that we were given a ground floor room that was near the lounge... Neither of us got any sleep as we heard noises the WHOLE night, not over exaggerating. I don't know what they we're doing but the only way I can describe it was that it sounded like things (maybe luggages?) were getting dragged and hitting the walls, really odd.

Hotel is very basic which is fine as it's just to sleep in however the room door wouldnt lock, the phone didn't work, the mini fridge was empty and had to speak to 3 members of staff to ensure we weren't charged for items that were missing. There was work going on in the hotel until about 10pm. We asked for someone to come and see about the door and the phone and were told it would be fixed but no one came. The location is good as it's just a bus or tram journey into city and there are local bakeries close by for breakfast and lovely restaurant 5 mins away for dinner/drinks. The problems with the hotel put a bit a slight downer to begin with but we just didn't spend much time there.

An emergancy trip to Rome

I would really recommend this hotel to anyone who is visiting Rome for a few days, while it is a couple of miles away from the major tourists sites there is a tram and bus service. But I would like to personally thank Sabrina (don't know if I spelt her name correctly) for all the help that she gave me over the 5 days that I stayed there. I had to go to Rome cause the week before, my father had an accident and he ended up in hospital. I had to choose a hotel that was near the hospital and that's how I ended up choosing this hotel, which I am glad I did. Sabrina helped me change my booking so when my father got discharged I could have my father in my room so that I can keep an eye on him until we flew home on the Friday. Grazie mille Sabrina. All the staff were excellent and all with a smile. This is also the best hotel I have been too that has excellent WiFi coverage including my room.

Great hotel located near the city center in a neighborhood with good restaurants and vicinity to train station, bus, and tram. Staff very polite and willing to help. We stayed for two weeks over the Christmas holidays. Will definitely be back again when I visit Rome.

Hotel in Residential Area

This hotel is located in the residential area of Rome, away from the tourist destinations. This is fine for us as everything around there is cheaper. You will rack up on taxi cab fares if you don't feel comfortable taking the bus though. The room was nice and clean but the modern amenities were not functional. For example, in the shower, there's no where to put your shampoo. The hotel staff is not very helpful. Something also odd is that at 1:30 a.m., a hotel staff entered into our hotel room. I have just taken a shower and laid down, was texting my friends, when I heard rattling at the door. Someone used a KEY, not just a hotel key, but a master key. The door opened and a man entered. I screamed and they closed the door and ran. My husband opened the door and saw the man making his way towards the elevator. He asked him what he wanted but he didn't speak English. The next morning around 6 am we came downstairs and asked the two staff members at the front desk, one being the one that came into our room, why did he enter and why that time of night? The other guy who spoke English said that we must have been mistaken, but we insisted. That's when they started speaking Italian and said "Oh it was a mistake. Everything's okay now."What kind of mistake? We kept asking but he kept saying, "Everything's ok." No explanation. Shouldn't we be the one telling them if it's okay or not? They're the one violating our privacy. Anyways - wouldn't recommend this hotel. Very weird.

Nice small clean hotel closed to small businesses.

Nice clean small hotel inside a city close to small businesses and residences. Staff was very helpful. Hotel needs to include soap/shampoo dish holder in the shower, iron w/stand. The shower could be very hot or very cold. That needs to be configured so that water temperature could be adjusted. Room needs to have light lamps, little bigger refrigerator, coffee maker and cups for drinking water or sosdas. The TV remote needs to have instructions on how to change the language to English. It won't hurt to have more than 3 cloth hangers in the closet. Even to make it better, it will be nice to include a continental breakfast for the guests. I will give 5 to staff members and 3.5 for overall ratings.

Ottimo hotel di tipo business.

Ottimo hotel di tipo business. Camere moderne e spaziose, bagni moderni e ristrutturati. Abbastanza silenzioso. L'albergo non ha parcheggio gratuito, ma ha una convenzione con un parcheggio a pagamento. Il parcheggio libero sulla strada puo' essere difficoltoso.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la vicinanza ad un nostro punto di interesse proprio per riposare bene. Hotel discreto ma stanza fredda e difficilmente riscaldabile. Non abbiamo dormito per nulla bene. Bagno poco illuminato e doccia difficilmente regolabile ma buon set di cortesia. Abbiamo chiesto la sveglia ma hanno problemi con i telefoni (per carità ci può stare e poco male) ma la Tv che prende solo la Rai o poco altro dai no. Colazione così cosi.

“No go!“ im Badezimmer

Das Hotel wäre schon OK, geplagt hat uns der Geruch nach Kanalisation im Badzimmer, der auch nach mehrmaligem Hinweis nicht behoben werden konnte. Farbdesign ist ja Geschmackssache und somit äussere ich mich nicht dazu, aber Eiserne Stühle (wegen dem „The iron design Hotel“) zum Frühstück ist im Winter kein Hit. Ansonsten alles OK!
