My Review of This Hotel Stay: Unfortunately, I did not have a pleasant experience at this hotel. The rooms were very small and crowded, and the entrance and hallways were often filled with luggage. The breakfast was extremely basic—just some cornflakes, a single croissant, and a cup of coffee. Considering the amount we paid, I expected much more. The hotel’s facilities were minimal and overall disappointing. Honestly, with the same budget, we could have booked a much better hotel.

We went to check in and the front desk guy was very rude and was not working with us to try and figure out why i was being charged extra fees. Expedia was telling me i had to pay 11 euros in which could be payed by card and the front desk person made a huge fuss saying they only take cash and after telling him i have been paying card everywhere for taxes he charged be 25 euros without any reasoning. He was very rude and not helpful at all.

The staff were rude, aggressive, and not helpful even when asked. I was in tears on my last morning because the staff were being so awful to me. Staff do not speak fluent English or French. Staff are not helpful to people with disabilities. Avoid this property.

Unfortunately I did not get lucky with most of my hotel choices in Italy. Mirage for example was super dirty and smelly. You can see in the photos below how we got our room: trash under the bed, hair on the sink and shower full of hair and brown stains (God knows what is that) and the worst part: the toilet was completely dirty, they didn’t clean it at all! See it on the photos, it was disgusting! I didn’t have time and energy to ask for them to clean, first because this was supposed to be a toom ti sleep, wake up and leave, so I got there late in the night and wouldn’t have time dor that. Such an inconvenience, waste of money and unhealthy dirty place. Expedia shoud do better and chexk what they are offering! I had raised my concerns before to expedia and nothing was done. I wish I could get a compensation for that!

One of the most rudest staff I’ve encountered in my life. Our train was delayed for 10 hours and instead of checking in on 26 I came on 27 May 6 am landed . Requested to atleast give us till 11 because our checkout was the same morning . He didn’t help plus extremely rude . DO NOT RECOMMEND

Mirage located across the train terminal and taxi station that helped us to commute easily during our stay in Rome. It’s clean and service is good. Our room was clean with clean bathroom and basic breakfast was offered.
Visiting many monuments are easy to access from Mirage Hotel
Mirage Hottel is walking distance from the Ancient Rome public bath
