Sijainti oli loistava. Lähellä paljon ravintoloita ja etäisyys nähtävyyksiin sopiva. Huone oli perussiisti ja ilmastointi toimi hyvin.

Friendly staff, good room No services, no breakfast, but many restaurants near the guest house. Little bit difficult to find, need bigger sign.

Die Unterkunft war schwierig zu finden, sie war nicht offensichtlich erkennbar. Die Dusche war sehr alt und aus der Brause kam überall Wasser raus und die Spühle der Toilette hatte sehr lange bis sie wieder gefüllt war, daher langes lautes Geräusch. Die Aussicht war nix und von aussen gab es sehr laute undefinierbare Geräusche. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und motoviert. Die Lage war super, etwas ausserhalb, denoch zentral und mit ÖV gut erreichbar.

Excellent value for money, great service

Pros: Price to value, location, service, modern rooms, security.
Cons: Noise insulation, fire safety.
This B & B is located on a bit more upscale area in the northwestern part of central Rome near the Vatican. Nearby streets are relatively quiet and feel safe. The OM2 is on the second floor of an 1980'ish office building so you might miss it walking by. Inside the place is cosy and small, they have 8 rooms in total. The rooms themselves are modern, spacious and kept in good condition (only the electric kettle was a bit icky with weeks old water inside), bathroom included. We spent 6 nights with no problems. Central heating was a nice thing during rainy and cold days, kept the dampness outside. Some more noise insulation could be added to the windows and walls/doors; luckily our neighbouring guest were quiet people. Though I think in Italy bad noise insulation is a default setting. Included breakfast was quite ok for a short stay. One thing I noticed though: Lack of proper fire safety. I did not see any smoke/fire detectors in the whole building, the B&B premises or the rooms. They did have a couple of powder extinguishers, but they don't help much if you're already passed out due to smoke. Also the other one of the exits to the corridor was blocked. Apart from that everything felt ok even without 24/7 service. The service at OM2 needs extra praise: The personnel we interacted with were very friendly, proactively helpful, professional and spoke excellent English. We felt welcome, which is sometimes rare even in a four-star hotel. Thank you guys and take care.
