A wonderful old hotel conveniently located a few blocks from the Colosseum. The staff was very accommodating, allowing us early check in .. carrying our heavy luggage upstairs , arranged for our car from the port and to the airport and called many taxis in between.. the staff makes the stay. Rooms are typically older style European but beds were comfortable and bathroom provided everything you need. We also found a wonderful rooftop restaurant right out the door to the west which we liked enough to return a second time.

This was the most lovely start of our Italy trip! Before even arriving in Italy the staff assisted me with booking a driver to pick us up from the airport upon arrival, tickets for colosseum and roman forum, and 2 private massages scheduled right after we check-in (the most perfect way to start a trip after a 9hour flight!) The staff and hotel was truly amazing with a spectacular view of the colosseum. Cannot wait to come back again!
