Fabulous and stylish hotel five mins from the colosseum. The lobby and room were fabulous. We had a double room with a Juliet balcony/window right above the front door. Everything is the room was great, with a super comfy bed. Even the hairdryer was good which is always a complaint of mine!! One issue was the shower. To get any pressure you had to have it on high heat which was too hot to stand under and the pressure with it colder made showering very laborious! The staff were so helpful through our stay - offering to print tickets and arranging taxis. We had breakfast one morning and that too was great - plenty to chose from in a lovely small sun room. That said the area around the hotel had loads of great eating options and considering the location, the prices were great. Getting around was so easy too. The Colosseo metro stop is fives mins away, with trams and buses even closer. This was our third time to Rome and we couldn’t get in to our ‘usual’ hotel so opted for the Profumo and we were not disappointed. We would very much recommend and stay here again.
