This hotel markets itself as a luxury destination, but the reality is far from five-star. The most glaring issue was the service in the restaurant, bar, and lounges — consistently inattentive, unprofessional, and nowhere near the standard expected of a property of this caliber.
At the bar, staff were slow to acknowledge guests, often leaving patrons waiting for extended periods just to place an order. When service did arrive, it was rushed and careless, as if providing basic hospitality was an afterthought. The lounges, which should have been comfortable and refined, suffered from the same problem: long waits for even the simplest requests and an overall lack of attentiveness.
To make matters worse, the pricing was astonishingly inflated. Every drink and service came at a premium that might have been acceptable had the experience matched the cost — but it didn’t. Instead, guests are left paying exorbitant rates for service that wouldn’t be acceptable in a mid-range establishment.
Furthermore, the spa was advertised as a luxury experience, but in reality, it was nothing of the sort. There were no treatments actually available, and what was offered bore little resemblance to what was promised. Facilities were far below expectations — extremely limited, and lacking the exclusivity and quality one associates with a five-star spa.
This hotel may carry a five-star label, but the service is far from it. I cannot recommend it to anyone seeking a true luxury experience.
