This amazing two bedroom apartment can accommodate up to 7 people and it is located on the top floor of an early 1900 6-story building with elevator.

A private external charming roof terrace on the above floor is accessible to our guests only: enjoy a glass of wine, a cappuccino in the morning or a meal in the evening while looking out over the Colosseum, the Vatican Dome, the Vittoriano (Wedding Cake), the Roman rooftops and other monuments! Only the guests of the listing 279021 can access the terrace that is NOT shared with anyone else. ONLY YOU!

This Rome Colosseum apartment is located very close to the most important monument of Rome: the Flavian Amphitheater also known as the Colosseum, one of the 7 Wonders of the World. The flat is in the heart of the Ancient Rome a few steps far from other important sites: the Nero's Domus Aurea, the Roman Forums, the Saint Mary Major Basilica, the Basilica of Saint Clement and the Saint Peter in Chains Church with the amazing Michelangelo's Moses statue. The apartment can welcome up to 7 people. It is made up of a living room with a sofa that can be split into 2 beds, 2 bedrooms with king size bed (one of them can be split into 2 single), 2 full bathrooms with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment has been recently restored and nicely decorated. Plenty of hot water for your showers!

The home's position is incredible: 300 m. from the Colosseum, the Roman Forum and from the beautiful Colle Oppio Park. You can easily reach the other areas of the historical centre on foot or by bus and tram that conveniently stop in front of our building. If you prefer you can take the Metro/underground (line A and B) at the nearby stops of 'Manzoni' or 'Colosseo'. The apartment is located not far from the central train station (10 minutes by taxi or by bus/metro) and from the airport (45 minutes by taxi, 90 by train). Combined with 4 apartments in the opposite building, a party of 28/30 people can be accommodated. All of the above are important ingredients that make for unforgettable Roman Holiday...

The Holiday Home Colosseum Great Beauty Terrace is located on a 6th floor of a building with elevator, in the ancient and characteristic Rione Monti.

Upon your arrival you will receive a map of the city and useful information on the city sights, shops and restaurants, pizzerias, trattorias, wine-bars and groceries in the area. The apartment has a well supplied bookshelf at your disposition containing tourist and archaeological guide books in various languages and our staff is always on hand to help and suggest touristic itineraries.

Everything about the property was as advertised. Having an elevator in an older building was also a very nice feature. Our host was exceptional setting up our transportation from the airport and on the last day to the train station. We were met at the front gate on arrival with a thorough walk through and explanation by the host. Excellent experience we would strongly recommend this property for your stay!!

The location was easy to navigate to and from. The only con was the bathroom had a smell of sewage. We contacted the host and he did his best, but the smell impacted our stay. It sounds like less on an issue in the dryer months.

Beautiful view of Rome, including the COLOSSEUM. We had plenty of space. Location was ideal for what we wanted to see and do. Found an excellent Thai massage place nearby too. Felt safe. Walked everywhere day and night. We did struggle with the washer/dryer combo machine but the owner/manager was always willing to help.

The location was great and within walking distance of all the places we wanted to visit. The security of the building was appreciated. We felt very safe. Paolo (our host) was so helpful and responded immediately to any of our inquiries The private rooftop area was even better than we imagined with a fantastic view of the Coliseum !The apartment is perfect for 2 couples or a family.We loved the large windows in the apartment that opened to such pretty views.We could walk to all the major attractions in Rome. Pictures and words cannot do this apartment justice. It is perfect beyond words! Sitting in the terrace with a bottle of champagne, as we watched the sun set on the Colosseum is probably one of the most beautifully moments in my life that even brought tears to my eyes. You cannot fully describe the feeling of seeing one of the wonders of the world in your own private space unless you experience it yourself. The ac works perfect, the apartment is spacious, we really appreciated the snacks and drinks left for us to enjoy. The location is magnificent, and the hosts are always available for any questions. It is one of the best stays we have ever had.

Great Rooftop Views!

Excellent rooftop patio views of the Coliseum - that is why I booked this unit. However photos of the rooftop patio with plants are inaccurate as most plants were dead. Apartment is sparse as shown in photos but functional. IE One pillow per person, no kitchen towels, limited kitchen supplies. We were still able to prepare breakfast a few times, and did enjoy the patio. AC functioned well, washer worked well, and we felt safe in the unit. Was also helpful to be so close to the Coliseum for our early am tour. FYI - was hard to reach property owner 2 weeks pre-trip, had to get VRBO involved and get an outside # for him.

Really great apartment!

We had a great stay in Rome in this beautiful apartment about a 9 min walk from the Colosseum. Check in was super easy, Paolo was very thorough and provided all the info we needed and even helped us arrange transportation. We loved how quiet and private The gated building was.The apartment itself is very roomy with 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, two bedrooms, and a living room. It was perfect for our family of 5. The elevator is small, but sturdy. The apartment comes with the keys to a private rooftop with stunning views of Rome. The only downside to the apartment for us was the shower that didn't always have hot water, and had low water pressure. But those weren't huge deals to us. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time in this unit. The host Paolo was great to communicate with before and during our stay. Each room had A/C which was a live saver. It was at or over 100 degrees when we stayed. The free water and soda was in the fridge when we arrived. The host even set up transportation from the airport, from the VRBO to the cruise teriminal in Civitavecchia Port, and then from the port back to the airport. Priced very reasonably for a family of 4. The drivers were nice and on time. The patio on the top of the building is a private pation only we had access to which was nice. Great view of the Colosseum at night when it is lit up. The whole stay couldn't have been nicer or better. Our kids loved the elevator also.

All I can say is WOW!

Property is fantastic. Service was excellent. Communication was above and beyond. Neighborhood and location was great. Terrace gets a little hot (it faces west) in the afternoons in June. It's fantastic in the morning though.

The property is in an old building but the apartment has updated amenities such as kitchen and bathrooms. Be prepared for a small elevator but it works. The neighborhood is safe and nice grocery store across the street. Restaurants within 4 minute walk and most overlook the Colosseum. The host Paolo is wonderful. The best is the private terrace. View is amazing.

Close to everything but away from the crowds

We had a wonderful experience at this property. It fit our needs very well for a family of four staying a week in Rome. The terrace access really takes this place over the top. Much better value than staying at a hotel. The owner was great at check in and helped us throughout the week with various needs.

This was our first time in Rome, Paolo was very helpful, friendly , easy to reach at any time always available to help us out, give us ideas ,suggestion and solutions. The location is central close to the Colosseum, the apartment is comfortable and contributing to experiencing Rome, the terrace is amazing for your morning coffee or a quick snack with great view of the Colosseum. The location and view were both outstanding, Walking distance to Colosseum and dozens of restaurants. Grocery store across the street. Paradise In Rome

This property is as beautiful as it appears in the photos. The patio view is stunning. We started our days with breakfast on the patio, and ended with wine at night. The apartment is safe in a secure building, spacious, clean, modern, and quiet. The kitchen is modern and the washer dryer a great convenience. It is located minutes in walking distance from the metro bus and subway lines. Paolo, the property owner was always available to answer our Rome questions. We rented the apartment for the month of October and loved the warm charm everyday. We would highly recommend this property as the "Best of the Best" in Rome.

Paolo was so helpful and such a great host. The apartment was spacious and very comfortable. We were in walking distance to the Coleseum and many great restaurants.
