Location:
The GetInRome Vaticano apartments are located in a strategic point, a stone's throw from St. Peter's Square and the Vatican, just a few minutes away from Castel S. Angelo and the splendid Spanish Steps. Stain is not absolutely necessary.
The apartments are just a stone's throw from the Ottaviano Metro stop, with which you can reach easily and in a very short time the other important poles of the city. (Colosseum, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna, Circus Maximus etc.).

Just some info that may be important for you:
Most major tourist destinations, like Rome, have regulations that govern private room or apartment renting. Basically any room or apartment that rents space without respecting these regulations is not legal.
Those who aren’t authorized to be renting their properties are surely incapable or unwilling to abide by other laws that are all connected.

Why should you care?
Booking an illegal rental puts you at risk of being stranded without a place to stay if a property owner is forced to comply with the law and removes their rental from the market.

Safety. Hosts who circumvent the rental permit process are also less likely to follow regulations. If you don’t care about the law and preventing disasters, you really don’t care much about the people they might happen to.
At check in it is requested a city tax of 6 euros per person per day by the City Of Roma to pay in cash at check in.

Perfect family accommodation close to Vatican

Excellent apartment short walk from the Vatican and Metro station. Many nice cafe and eateries in the neighborhood. Check-in and check-out process was as smooth as it can be. Great communication from the host with lots of useful information. Will certainly stay here again next time in Rome.

Fantastic Host

Great location in a safe neighborhood with many conveniences nearby. Alessandra was lovely and so very accommodating! We came in exhausted from our flight and she had the apartment ready for us when we arrived. We were and are so grateful! Rome Apartment and amenities

Communications with the owner was terrific. Having never been to Rome, she was helpful and responsive even before booking the property.Once booked, she was even more helpful and responsive, helping use fine local travel arrangements. She kept her schedule flexible to meet and greet us upon arrival, even with flight delays.The apartment had everything we needed. We didn't spend much time there as we were on the move almost every day, but it had enough. We didn't eat a full meal there, but if we needed to it had the necessary items to cook.It helped make our trip enjoyable! Thank you so much!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE

My husband and I rented this great apartment for our trip to Rome. The location is great! Shopping and restaurants surround the area. It is very close to the Vatican and Sant Angelo's Castle. It is very walkable to other sites like the Colosseum and Trevi Fountain. Check-in was a breeze and the host was extremely informative and the guide book left for us. The host was attentive and responded almost immediately to our messages especially since we were there during Christmas. She gave us great recommendations for dinner and shopping. I HIGHLY recommend this place!!!

So very near the Vatican

Beautifully renovated apartment, excellent location, very quiet at night, almost instant communication with property manager. She went above and beyond arranging a very early morning departure for the airport. Only problem for me was lack of consistent hot water in the evenings. If I have the opportunity I would love to stay here again.

Location location location

Amazing spot in Roma! Steps from Vatican and St.Pete that wakes you up in the morning giving unforgettable flavor of its spirit. Properly is super clean and well maintained. The only issue is noisy common area of entrance with restaurant downstairs so the sounds of the people waking talking and opening doors are present until very late. We could not rest from jet lag in the middle of the day. Had to go to pharmacy to get ear plugs.

Simply a wonderful escape

My wife and I enjoyed the apartment more than words can say. We came here for one leg of our honeymoon and were overwhelmingly impressed with the cleanliness and beauty of the apartment, as well as its location. I am a newly confirmed Catholic, and to be within walking distance of the Vatican was simply amazing. The host was incredibly kind, and even helped guide us to the apartment while on our trip by sharing my location with her. I can’t say enough about her hospitality. We would love to come back when we return to Rome in the years to come.

AC Issues

Great location near Vatican but had issues figuring out Air conditioner’s remote. The host also did not seem too familiar with it. Another thing, I would have liked an extra towel. We were given 1 each and stayed for 4 nights without a washer.

First time Vrbo and Rome

Location is great! Tons of great cafes and restaurants nearby. Alexandra, our host was very friendly and responsive. She suggested a couple of local spots and they were really good. The apartment has a large bedroom and lots of room for suitcase storage behind the bed. AC was strong in the bedroom. There is street construction / closures in the area currently, but we couldn’t hear any noise in the unit. The place was also very clean - overall, a positive stay in Rome!

Nicely located near vatican

The place was very clean the main bed was very comfortable. The fold out was less so. Apartment had basics including coffee tea and sugar ( no milk) to get you started the first day. The host gave recommendations for dinner ( one almost next door which was sufficient) small market on corner with large not too far. We enjoyed our short stay. She recommended a driver pick us up at airport when we first landed and we were very glad we used this service. Would be happy to stay here again.

This is the place to stay in Rome

This was my second trip to Rome and my first time staying in this apartment. I plan to always stay in this lovely apartment when I’m in Rome. I was traveling alone and felt completely safe in this lovely location. The apartment was beautiful and very clean and in a neighborhood with great cafes and restaurants. Alessandra was very helpful and answered any questions I had quickly. You can’t go wrong with this lovely apartment in the eternal city!

The apartment was spacious for my wife and I. It was very clean and the check-in process was easy. The location is great! There are several good restaurants with in 5 minuets of the apartment. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Rome.

Great Central Location

Our host Alessandra was awesome. She arranged a transfer from the airport and another back to the airport. The bed and the modern, cozy apartment were very comfortable. The lift is fast. The best asset is the central location. It is a 7 minute walk to the Vatican Museum entrance. It is a 22 minute subway ride to the Colosseum. There are dozens of restaurants and shops nearby. Three restaurants and one pub we enjoyed were literally steps away from the apartment. We had a great time walking around and felt safe the whole time. The bathroom access is through the main bedroom, so the apartment is ideal for a couple but would not be ideal for a family with teens or 2 couples. There are mostly hard surfaces in the apartment and the courtyard has hard surfaces so noise can travel. But we slept fine and were not bothered by other tenants. In fact, we kept the windows open most of the time. This apartment was perfect for our needs and Alessandra made sure we were comfortable. Her communication before and during our stay was excellent. She met us at arrival and explained everything in detail. She made restaurant recommendations. She cares about her guests and we recommend staying here.

4 day weekend in Rome

Our family had a long weekend in Rome and this apartment was in the perfect spot. We walked everywhere, which was really great. The neighborhood is fantastic and the owner of the apartment couldn’t have been better. From the very start, she got us a car service from the airport to the apartment, she let us to put her bags and check in early, which was really appreciated because we got there After a long overnight flight and just wanted to put our bags down and get some food. She then helped with tons of restaurant recommendations and things to do and places to see. I can’t say enough great things about her. She was just amazing. The apartment was super clean , really quaint and perfect for our family. This is amazing experience with an amazing host. We had a great time in Rome and we can’t thank her enough!

I can't use bathtub because there is no hot water and poor water. And when our family was washing, there was bad smell of sewage coming from the drain. And the staff asked and chased me tight check in time 18:30. I will never select this accommodation again.

Great location, Alessandra was great

Firstly Alessandra was great, really good communication, she is friendly and helpful. Check in was easy as was check out. Great apartment on the second floor with everything you need. There is a lift or stone steps which is easy enough. Well equipped kitchen. Air con was great. Lively apartment on an evening but people do live there. Great and lively location with restaurants, cafes, bakeries and gelatos on your doorstep. You are within close proximity to the Vatican Museums, Castel de St Angelo. We walked everywhere and saw the sites.We booked all our POI beforehand through the official sites to avoid waiting. I would recommend booking tours, alot is explained. My favourite place was St Peters Basilica. It was breath taking, amazing and free. It was quiet on an evening. From the airport we took the Sit Bus shuttle, around £8 pp which took about 50-60 mins from the airport. Again super easy and only a short walk to the apartment. We did the same on the way back to the airport. A taxi is around 70 euro's one way.
