The WOOORST!

Worst "hotel" experience ever. For starters, I use the term "hotel" suuuuuper loosely here. There was less than a foot of room between the wall and all sides of the "bed" (two colossally crappy twins pushed together in the middle of the room -- lumpier than my mom's mashed potatoes and that's saying something). The walls were as paper-thin as the mattresses (my husband asked me "what did you say" when someone on the other side of the wall spoke because even a hushed speaking voice travels through the walls). Somehow, we managed to fall asleep nonetheless, but woke up in the middle of the night (5 a.m. to be exact) to someone blaring their car horn and screaming for roughly 15 minutes straight. When they finally left, they drove so recklessly I felt both personally in danger of them running me over with their car and fiscally in danger of them plowing into our rental car. We were certainly not going to stay another night. Somehow, we managed to finally get back to sleep only to be awoken again at 8:30 a.m. by more screaming, this time on the part of hotel staff as "Housekeeping" was in the room of the people who'd made the ruckus the previous night. I'm guessing they must've trashed their room because housekeeping was slamming things around and screaming a ton. I opened my door and found the housekeepers were throwing trash out the window of the neighboring unit right onto our doorstep, including a used pregnancy test. The health department should condemn this place!

Genuinely the single most disgusting place I've ever slept in. Rooms were damp and rotting, electrics falling to bits, exposed wires, lose plugs and bedbugs, spiders and mosquitos everywhere. Both me and my friend got severely bitten every night. Cat shit in the gravel outside the rooms from the small army of feral cats on site. Oddly the grounds are beautiful and looked after. The only saving grace was the moderately friendly staff and the (unconnected) wild west resteraunt near the entrance. Its too far out of the city to be considered convenient despite the transfer bus to the train station. I would literally never stay in this place again even if you paid me, it's truly one disgusting shit hole. Avoid at all costs, i would never leave a bad review without a good reason.

Summed up in one word. Horrendous. Very tired, dated location. Swimming pool filthy and green with algae all over the bottom. “Cabins” small, dirty, filthy shower with mouldy shower curtain. Uncomfortable beds, no aircon in cabin meaning it felt like a sauna even in September. Cooled outside but couldn’t leave the windows open as there were thousands of mosquitoes waiting to pounce. Checked out after just the one night (had booked for 5 nights) as there was no way we could stay any longer. The only thing that made our one night pleasurable was the onsite restaurant. The food was probably the best evening meal that we had on our entire honeymoon ( we were inter railing around Europe) and was the best value for money also. It was full of Italians too so is obviously the go to restaurant in the area for locals and it’s a shame that it’s sited on the tired, rundown location.

5/5 Excellent

We cherish the Seven Hills Village!

Three nights there. Everything was more than we thought before we arrived: welcoming and kind reception, a clean cottage with two beds, hot showers, comfortable common areas, a nice Italian restaurant with kind attendance, convenient shuttle services..... it was a comfortable stay. We will go back there again.

Bed Bugs, Smelly Hot Rooms, No Electric Fans

We booked for a total of 3 nights, non-smoking room. When we arrive they gave us a very stinky room with broken furniture like an attached table but not usable coz its leg is broken. I complained about the condition of the room. They then gave us another room but it smells cigarette. I told them that I booked for a non-smoking room but our room smells cigarette. I also asked for an electric fan coz it was too hot. It was 30 degrees. they promised to provide a fan in the morning coz according to them, they ran out of fan for the night but I have to remind reception in the morning, and I did. On the second night, they gave us another room. According to the reception, it was the best room they have coz it was their newest room but still there is no electric fan. They promised to provide the fan the next day again. After that second very hot night, we wake up with full of Beg Bug bites. I checked the mattress under the sheets, it was very dirty. I went to reception and complained about the bed bugs but the gentleman simply told me that "BED BUGS ARE NORMAL AND IT IS BEYOND THEIR CONTROL". Their guest come and go and they cannot control what they take with them when they arrive the property. And still we are not provided an electric fan for our third nigh despite repeated demands. It was very inconvenient for me and my little daughter and the poor communication on their part made our holidays less enjoyable.
