No 24 hour desk staff

We were unaware that this hotel did not have 24 hour service until they contacted me 2 hours before my first day arriving. I only saw people working there at the desk or at all period for the moment I checked in. I didn’t like that was not information stated in the description of this hotel prior to booking otherwise I would not have felt comfortable with this. At one point the door was broken and I was not able to get into the building. Again if there were people that actually worked there that never would’ve been an issue. Basically I saw no employees in that building at all except for the 10 minutes during my check in.
