Wish the locks to the room were better. Definitely doesn’t feel very secure. Our room we had an actual key with just one little lock. When we walked into the room there looked to be a cockroach or something similar next to the first bed and kitchen area. We were able to kill it and then there was a huge glob of hair next to the cockroach. They had no trash cans. We checked in very late after a very long drive so we didn’t say anything in the moment since the kids just needed to get some sleep. When we checked out there was no one at the front desk. When I rang the doorbell someone from the kitchen came and got the key from me so I wasn’t able to talk to anyone about the conditions.

Book with Caution

This is a newer facility and still up and coming and still being set up. Food situation is pretty grim at this time: even though there is complimentary breakfast included, it is not readily laid out for the guest. You have to ask the kitchen associate for everything. The kitchen associate was rough and temperamental and not welcoming. So, you don't feel like asking here again and again or with the worry that someone might mess your food behind the scenes. Basics were missing like accompaniments: butter pouches, creamcheese or jam to apply on the toast. No toaster. Breakfast was repetitvely the same-bacon, egg, sausage, egg and toast; no fruit, yogurt, milk, ketchup or or plain creamer available. Only sweetened creamer was there. The coffee cardboard glasses finished and when asked, I was given plastic water glasses in which coffee could not be poured. A guest was vaping in the dining area. This should be strictly prohibited especially in a kid-friendly zone. The rooms: are missing a table, and seating of some sort for office work, iron, iron board, hangers, hair dryer. Rooms are spacious though. This is a hospitality industry and the basics of hospitality were missing. Game room is an added bonus adn an excellent I did provide feedback to the front desk staff since they were very courteous and open to feedback and receptive. I would love to come back here when they improve. attraction to the guests. The gym was fantastic and I used it everyday of my stay.

Beautiful but uncomfortable

The facility is absolutely beautiful. You can tell that it was priorly an assisted living home because there are signs and things like residential dining area throughout the entire facility and there are emergency pull strings next to all of the toilets. The beds were rockhard, so neither set of people got much sleep although they were supposedly brand new orthopedic mattresses. They were extremely hard. In fact, the second night, I asked for extra pillows to sleep on top of the pillows on top of bed. Second bedroom has no air-conditioning in it so even with the door open to the living room, the room was still hot even with the ceiling fan. They had a game room and movie theater, which was a super cool set up but no air conditioning throughout the building except for in your room so super hot. We stayed in there for about 45 minutes and had to go back to our room because it was 106 that day. Love the fact that there are laundry facilities. Also, you have a kitchen set up which includes a grill, a microwave and a refrigerator. There are no plates or dishes or silverware of any sort. With just a few improvements I believe this would be a destination hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. Room and service were excellent. The breakfast was sit-down, order taken and delivered to your table. Soooo Good! Wish we were staying longer.

I dont even know where to start. The room floor had stains, one of the lights in the room was missing, the microwave didnt work, the television remote was missing, there was no wifi. The building was old and used to be a psychiatric care center. It had a haunted hospital feel to it and it smells odd inside. I dont know how this place is so highly rated on expedia it must be that employees are paid to do so.

Not your typical hotel

This is the quietest place I have stayed that I can remember. You won't be bothered by kids running down the halls late at night. It's in a neighborhood just off the main street and the staff are very kind and helpful.

I don't recommend this place

I booked this hotel because i thought it was going to be 5 star hotel like its rated but it was sadly not. Its a active retirement home and there was bugs everywhere. Staff was pretty nice though. Beds are hard too!

This place is in the process of transitioning from an assisted living to a hotel. It was definitely a different environment but everyone was friendly in the room was much larger than we expected. After several days long car ride my children were happy to have all the room to run around and play games.
