A Charming Duplex in the Heart of Historic Rouen

Located on the 2nd floor of the iconic "Normandy" building, this delightful duplex apartment offers a unique stay experience, blending the charm of history with modern comfort.

Spread over two levels, the apartment features a fully equipped open-plan kitchen leading to a welcoming dining area, a bright mezzanine living room, and three bedrooms—each with its own private bathroom.

This 16th-century half-timbered building has been completely renovated to preserve its authenticity while providing optimal comfort.

On the first level, you'll find two spacious bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, the third bedroom with a double bed also has its own bathroom with shower and toilet.

The open kitchen includes everything you need to prepare meals: stovetop, oven, microwave, drip coffee maker, and kitchen utensils.

The mezzanine living area, accessed by a staircase, is bathed in natural light and offers a lovely view over the rooftops of Rouen and the nearby Saint-Maclou Church.

Good to know: The accommodation is made up of two separate apartments connected by a shared hallway, creating a large living space ideal for families, friends, or business travelers.

Bed linen and towels are provided for your comfort. There is no private parking, but you can park in the surrounding streets according to the city’s current rates.

The accommodation is managed by Home Rouen, available 7 days a week from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We kindly ask you to take care of the property and respect the neighborhood.

TEOR is a high service level bus (BHNS) that offers lines with a high frequency. Lines T1, T2 and T3 pass through the centre of Rouen and near rue Damiette.

The Rouen metro can also be an option. Although rue Damiette is not directly near a metro station, line M can be used from the Théâtre des Arts or Palais de Justice stations, which are not far away.

Please note that the building does not have an elevator and the apartment is located on the 2nd floor. Access may be difficult for guests with reduced mobility or those carrying heavy luggage.

For added flexibility, check-in is self-service from 4:00 p.m., and check-out must be completed by 11:00 a.m. at the latest.
