Former mill adjoining the Château de Courmenant (12th century), in the heart of a vast estate ([hidden] m²) crossed by the Vègre River, which once powered the mill wheel.
This cottage is ideal for fishing enthusiasts. Classified as a second-category fishing area, it offers year-round fishing for whitefish such as perch, roach, and gudgeon.

Pike and zander are also fished from late April until the end of January of the following year.

The [hidden] m² enclosed garden is landscaped with trees and flowers and features a terrace and a swing set.

Wi-Fi and heating are included.

The cottage was as described. Rustic and in a rural area which was exactly what our group wanted.We were greeted on arrival by the host, who spoke only French which was not a problem. She was very helpful and explained everything to us.The Gite was clean, spacious and was everything we could wish for. After a long day at the Le Mans Classic event it was a pleasure to return to the Gite.

J’ai déjà écrit mon message d’expérience , mettant de côté le temps infect ! Sommiers et lits à bout de souffle Chambres traversantes . Deux salles de bain pour 4 chambres . Linge de toilette très chiche . Couette très courte .Materiel de cuisine léger : grille pain cassé et pas de bouilloire électrique
