Beautiful Fall Escape

Absolutely beautiful area with complete serenity. We were in town for a wedding. This little house was a perfect little escape from the wedding chaos. The home was simple and perfectly comfortable. There was a beautiful back yard and barbecue facilities ready for use. Gorgeous trees and a tranquil stream right on the property. This was perfect for what we needed!

Good location for skiing

This rental is an older home on a nice creekside lot. There was plenty of space for our group of 2 adults and 3 teens. Cons: the house needs some updates, especially the main bathroom. Pros: plenty of space, convenient location for skiing/snowboarding, updated appliances in kitchen and laundry area, comfortable beds and bedding and good communication with property owner. There was a nice big deck, as well as a seating area outside near stream. We didnt get a chance to use these due to the cold weather, but would be nice in warmer seasons. Updated furniture in living room was nice. The owner was quick to respond to any questions we had. Quiet property in a scenic area (but restaurants and shopping are not too far away).

Great location, great house, great property!

We loved the place! What a great location in the heart of the carskills and a great property. We spent the days skiing in nearby Windham and the nights at the outdoor fire pit and the indoor wood burning stove. It was so nice to be outside next to the creek. Our kids loved hanging out outside and building forts in the woods. We also loved the big grill and deck. We hope we can come back in the summer!
