Honestly - the ladies working were so sweet and made us feel comfortable. They were so attentive. The little fireplace was a cool touch and we had great windows in the king bed room. However, we were a little sniffly (totally not their fault) due to the attitude change and the pillows were so soft that there was no head which made sleeping while stuffy super difficult. The bed was an old spring mattress that was definitely worn in the middle and you could feel the springs. We also had a strange paranormal type of experience which was a just a little freaky. But they truly are so nice. I think if they had it in budget to update their bed situation, it could’ve been drastically different for us. It’s also worth mentioning that the toilet was literally right on top of the wall, but I totally get that renovations to that extent are not helpful or profitable for a cozy little inn in a tourist area. All in all, probably a 6/10, but only due to the people… and the muffins. They bake those fresh daily and they’re the best I’ve ever had.
