Among the olives

A lovely week's stay, exploring the Ardeche area around Roums. The property was well provided, clean and in great repair. The pool and air conditioned bedroom were a real bonus in the hot weather.Arnaud was a lovely, helpful host - thank you.

TrĂšs jolie petite maison fonctionnelle .Excellente communication avec Arnaud. Emplacement idĂ©al pour la randonnĂ©e Ă  pied ou en canoĂ«.Quelques villages Ă  visiter ( Balazuc ,VogĂŒe , Labeaume) se situent aux environs. Le centre de Ruoms se trouve Ă  10 min Ă  pied. Bref , que du bonheur dans ce beau dĂ©partement qu'est l'ArdĂšche.

Super séjour en ArdÚche

Nous avons passé un trÚs bon séjour dans ce chouette logement, idéalement situé pour visiter cette trÚs belle région. Le logement est propre, bien équipé, avec deux belles terrasses et une vue magnifique sur les oliviers et les collines environnantes. TrÚs calme tout en étant proche du centre de Ruoms et de tous les commerces et restaurants, accessible à pied en 10 minutes.Merci pour l'accueil sympathique et la disponibilité du propriétaire ainsi que pour la visite du moulin à huile.Adresse à retenir!

Prachtige plek met super uitzicht.Vader en zoon zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. 10 min lopen van centrum Ruoms en dat is prima.Zeker een plek om terug te komen

Sehr schöne Unterkunft in toller Umgebung

Das hĂŒbsche, alleinstehende Ferienhaus verfĂŒgt ĂŒber Alles, was man in den Ferien brauchen könnte. Es liegt etwas erhöht und ruhig, inmitten von OlivenbĂ€umen, und bietet einen tollen Ausblick. Zu Fuss ist man aber schnell im Dorfzentrum und auch die Veloroute Via ArdĂšche ist rasch erreicht. Ruoms hat sich ĂŒberhaupt als guter Ausgangspunkt fĂŒr AusflĂŒge in die Umgebung erwiesen. Wir können die Unterkunft unbedingt weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passĂ© une semaine exceptionnelle dans le gĂźte de la Picholine
 tout est extra, le gĂźte est trĂšs beau, bien amĂ©nagĂ©, bien Ă©quipĂ©, la piscine est juste magnifique, la vue est a coupĂ© le souffle
 et le calme de cet endroit est reposant et ressourçant. Arnaud et son pĂšre sont accueillants et leur gentillesse est un exemple dans notre quotidien pas toujours bienveillant. Merci Ă  vous, nous reviendrons sans aucun doute.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft fĂŒr Zwei

Wir (Janine & Matthias) hatten 10 sehr schöne Tage in dem Ferienhaus. Die BegrĂŒĂŸung war sehr nett. Wir haben alles erklĂ€rt bekommen und konnten den Pool auch noch durch das tolle Wetter im Oktober nutzen. Die Unterkunft war tadellos sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Wer sehr viel Wert auf Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit legt, muss sich aber ggf. um eine andere Unterkunft bemĂŒhen. Der Durchgangsverkehr von Ruoms ist wahrnehmbar auf der Terrasse und am Pool und aktuell (10/2023) waren auch zwei Baustellen aktiv am HĂ€userbau in unmittelbarer Umgebung. Uns hat es nicht gestört, da wir nahezu den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Es gibt einfach zu viel zu entdecken in der Gegend. Danke nochmal an unseren Vermieter, der so nett war und ein PĂ€ckchen fĂŒr uns in Empfang genommen hatte.

Schönes Ferienhaus in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben die Woche in dem hĂŒbschen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt in einer schönen Umgebung mit tollem Blick von der Terrasse. Den Pool an heißen Tagen zu nutzen ist Gold wert. Direkt vom Ferienhaus aus haben wir schöne Wanderungen und auch eine Fahrradtour gestartet. Auch mit dem Motorrad konnten wir klasse Touren fahren. Der Vermieter ist herzlich und freundlich. Die FĂŒhrung zur Olivenölherstellung war sehr informativ. Alles in allem ein gelungener, viel zu kurzer Aufenthalt.

Nous avons passĂ© un sĂ©jour d’exception dans ce gĂźte. Nous avons fait la connaissance d’Arnaud qui est une personne d’une gentillesse et d’une sympathie rare. A l’écoute, rĂ©actif, de trĂšs bons conseils nous permettant d’apprĂ©cier au mieux notre sĂ©jour dans ce sublime gĂźte. C’est simple, nous n’avons rien Ă  redire sur celui-ci. Proche d’absolument tout (centre ville Ă  3mn Ă  pied, supermarchĂ© Ă  3mn en voiture), commerces proposant des produits locaux de grande qualitĂ© qui raviront vos papilles Ă  n’en pas douter. Le gĂźte est d’une propretĂ© clinique, dĂ©corĂ© avec modernitĂ© et vous permettant de vous sentir comme chez vous immĂ©diatement. Les terrasses et la piscine (absolument gĂ©niale par ailleurs), vous permettront de vous dĂ©tendre totalement entourĂ©s d’un paysage peuplĂ© d’oliviers qui vous isoleront dans une vĂ©ritable « bulle » de bien-ĂȘtre. Vous l’aurez compris, vous pouvez rĂ©server les yeux fermĂ©s, en tout cas de notre cĂŽtĂ© ce fut un vĂ©ritable coup de cƓur tant sur le gĂźte que sur le cĂŽtĂ© humain. N’ayez aucune crainte vous serez Ă  l’écoute pour quelque question que ce soit avec un propriĂ©taire aussi bienveillant que discret vous laissant profiter de votre sĂ©jour dans ce gĂźte sublime. Merci encore, il nous tarde (dĂ©jĂ ) de revenir !

Haus bei hohen Temperaturen unbewohnbar

Das Haus sieht Ă€ußerlich vielversprechend aus. Die Lage ist sehr schön. Schnell offenbart es allerdings gravierende MĂ€ngel. Es befindet sich lediglich im Schlafzimmer eine fest installierte Klimaanlage, die allerdings wĂ€hrend unseres Aufenthalts ausgefallen war. Ein Blitz hatte in sie eingeschlagen - das steigert nicht gerade das SicherheitsgefĂŒhl. Die kleine mobile Klimaanlage machte einen HöllenlĂ€rm und war viel zu ineffektiv. Noch schlimmer und eigentlich unvorstellbar: SĂ€mtliche grössere Fenster im Haus können nicht geöffnet werden. Das große Fenster im Schlafzimmer hat darĂŒber hinaus keinen Rolladen. Auch in der Nacht kann nicht gelĂŒftet werden. Über lange Phasen des Tages und in der Nacht wurden auch im GebĂ€ude ĂŒber 30 Grad erreicht. Bei hohen Temperaturen ist das Haus nicht bewohnbar. Nach drei Tagen reisten wir ab. Der Besitzer war nicht bereit eine EntschĂ€digung zu gewĂ€hren. Kleine Pointe am Rande: einen Sonnenschirm am Pool gab es nicht!

Ein schönes Haus und traumhafter Lage

Wir haben eine tolle Woche verbracht und konnten, dank des nahen Radweges mit den RĂ€dern die Umgebung erkunden und hatten fantastische Blicke auf die Landschaft. Das Haus hatte alles was man braucht und der Pool war sehr angenehm. Die Lage am Olivenhain ist perfekt. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist ungezwungen und sehr nett.
