The Gables - Stunning Waterfront Apartment

The Gables Waterfront Apartment is housed in a lovingly restored historic building on the Russell foreshore. Built on whalebone foundations by Joseph England, a shoemaker in 1847, its pitsawn kauri walls could tell a hundred stories.

The luxuriously appointed apartment is 2 storied, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There are views of the bay to Waitangi and Paihia. Glorious sunsets, yachting, fishing and boat activity, plunging gannets and the occasional dolphin are just a few reasons to enjoy the historic township of Russell.

The apartment has its own private courtyard entrance.

The large loft master bedroom enjoys beautiful views from the kingsize bed and the second bedroom features an original brick chimney feature with a Super King bed that can be converted to two singles upon request.

Fully furnished with modern appliances, the well equipped kitchen would please any keen chef eager to experiment with the wonderful local seafood and produce. For your comfort the apartment is pet free and is a non-smoking property. The apartment is not suitable for children under the age of 10 years.

All Linen is included; As a rule two guests will have access to the Master bedroom with the second remaining unmade (an extra linen fee may apply for use of the second bedroom). 3-4 guests will have both bedrooms made up.

NOTE: Under Kiwi bach tradition you are expected to tidy the house and do the dishes before you leave;
