Affectionally known as Hidden Cove, this unique lodge is on 360 private acres and has direct riverfront access. Enjoy the sights and sounds of ultimate serenity from multiple outdoor areas. The atrium includes a heated eight-foot-deep pool that is available year-round, along with a hot tub and a stone wall. Sit by the wood-burning fireplace, or sip a drink at the table. Fire up the built-in gas grill. Dine alfresco at one of two outdoor tables. Relax by the wood-burning firepit in the wooded backyard. Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the proximity to hiking, biking, and fishing - with direct access to over two miles of groomed trails. Enjoy swimming, kayaking, or camping along the riverfront. Dine and shop along Main Street in Chimney Rock. Drive about six miles to wander trails or hit the links at Rumbling Bald on Lake Lure. Picturesque Lake Lure is a dream destination for nature lovers. Chimney Rock is five miles from your door, and Lake Lure Adventure Company offers boat rentals within a nine-mile drive. Lake Lure Rental Boats offer weekly, daily, and half-day rentals as well as discounts for Pinnacle stays. The great room features vaulted ceilings, a smart TV with a soundbar, and a gas fireplace. Warm tones and wood beams add ambience. Enjoy indoor/outdoor living in the screened sunroom. Take in serene views of trees from the four-person table. Or relax by the wood-burning fireplace. The game room has Ping-Pong, foosball, a smart TV with a soundbar, and a table. The loft has a pool table. A bright nook features a desk and printer. Prepare recipes in the well-equipped kitchen, fitted with a full suite of appliances. Enjoy meals at the dining table or breakfast bar. The second kitchen offers a full suite of appliances and a dining table. The primary suite has a TV and a screened porch with a sectional and a swing. The en suite bathroom has a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Another suite has a smart TV and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and walk-in shower. Two ultra-private rooms, including the bunk room with a TV, are free of windows, promising a peaceful night of sleep. Sleeping arrangements: Upper level: Bedroom 1 offers: 1 king bed with bathroom Main level: Bedroom 2 offers: 1 king bed with bathroom, Bedroom 3 offers: 1 queen bed and shared hallway bathroom Lower level: Bedroom 4 offers: 1 queen bed, Bedroom 5 offers: 2 bunks - lower bunks are double beds, top bunks are twins and a sleeper sofa and shared hallway bathroom Extra perks include complimentary WiFi, two washers/dryers, a kayak, firewood, a whole-house generator. Wonderful stay! The home, pool, hot tub, and weather were excellent. TVs worked fine and WiFi worked on main level but not on pool level. Cell reception was spotty. There were minor repair and plumbing issues (master drain) throughout the home that could use some attention by the host. But overall we really enjoyed it.

If you want to cook large meals, bring your own large pots and pans. The pool was amazing unless you tried to swim at night as the lights didn’t work. The screened in porch, especially on top floor master with the propane fire pit and chaise lounge was great for late evening overlooking the mountain!WiFi was terrible but I was there to unplug, just be aware. The views, the quality of home build, the privacy, the nature hikes and more were just what we were looking for!!!

This was a beautiful, serene home, extremely clean, with all of the amenities you need. I've seen some harsh reviews, and I cannot believe anyone would give such poor reviews. This is a true hidden gem. The beds are all memory foam and very comfortable. The pool is heated perfectly. The home and the grounds are very well maintained. There are countless spaces for recreation, relaxing, cooking, dining and spending quiet time together. The space outside is breathtaking and tranquil, with limitless options for spending the day out enjoying the stunning land. We will absolutely return!

Great time by all

Every summer we take a family trip involving three generations. This was our first time renting a home to do so. We had a great time at this property. The indoor swimming pool was wonderful. Plenty of spaces for individual quiet time but also for family gathering. We would highly recommend this location.

Fairytale

This place was beyond comfortable it was luxurious! I could not have asked for a better getaway spot. It’s secluded and beautiful, the house was so clean and accommodating. The pool with the waterfall and the hot tub was like a private resort. There’s plenty of lounging porches and fireplaces and even a fire pit. My friends and I are already planning to return. The space was clean and plenty of space to gather and relax. The pool was a huge hit and worth the cost. The outdoor patios/porches/surroundings were beautiful. In general the home is dated but as pictured. The bedding and glassware and cookware/utensils can use an upgrade. Some pillows had no pillow cases, light quilts on beds that didn’t feel fresh. Random wineglass. But overall a special family stay!

Spectacular pool and privacy!

My husband & I spent 5 days at this property and had an amazing time. It was a lot of house for two people but we enjoyed the privacy. The pool is amazing! We also enjoyed all the outdoor seating on the porches. We like to hike so exploring the 360+ acres was great. Although we didn't even scratch the surface. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed to cook with. We would love to go back again.
