My husband and I stayed here because he was having medical treatment at the UC Davis Medical Center and this hotel was on the hospital shuttle route. Hotel staff were wonderful, helpful, and cordial. Unfortunately, the heating/cooling system kept us uncomfortable and unable to get a good night's sleep before my husband's procedure: without AC room was too hot; with AC on there was cold air and noise blasting us awake. A small table in the room that the two of us could sit at would have been extremely helpful. The website noting "2 restaurants" on site was misleading; the "grab and go" option was definitely not a "restaurant;" finding gluten-free / sugar-free options was very difficult; it would have been good to have a menu for the Bistro on the website. The "kitchenette" was a small refrigerator and a microwave; I had brought along oatmeal to prep for my breakfast, but there was no way to do that although I tried using one of the paper drinking cups.

Toilet broke at 4am and flooded my room. Refunded the night and gave me breakfast but was expecting to speak to the manager at least but he never appeared. Night staff should know location and how to turn off water valves.

Great Staff, Great Location!

Friendly staff and great facility were appreciated. But the main selling point for us was the great location; so close to UC Davis Medical and Shriners Children’s Hospital. Having a nice space to go back to between the kiddo’s medical appointments has been such a relief! The staff at this location understand a lot of guests are involved with the nearby hospitals for medical and are super accommodating & understanding.
