The front desk said I did not have a reservation so I had to get a hold of Expedia and go through hoops for about an hour and a half turns out that the front desk didn't know how to find me in the system even though I give them my itinerary number and name it was such a headache I don't think I want to go back there again telling my friends

Poor customer service by management

We had to cancel the same day as check in due to a family reason. The rules do say that you don't get a refund. However many hotels do. Hotels.com was very supportive and helpful. The hotel, however, never called me back. Two messages were left. I called the hotel, was given voicemail, and the manager never called me back.
