Authentic traditional residence from 1905, carefully restored, located "in the heart" of the prestigious estate of the Château de Chaumont-Laguiche, an exceptional 17th century heritage complex (family property since 1418) renowned for its sumptuous stables, listed as a historic monument, a literal masterpiece and equestrian palace built for the grandson of the King of France Charles IX by his wife Henriette de Laguiche, Duchess of Angoulême (one of the largest private stables of the Ancien Régime in France, the "most Italian" of all with its remarkable architecture inspired by Leonardo da Vinci), a vast property considered a belvedere, also including a castle and a romantic park with a breathtaking view of the Charolais mountains, the foothills of the Auvergne, and as far as Mont Blanc on a clear day. Nestled in a magnificent, unspoiled setting of nature and greenery, on the edge of woods and meadows, bordering the vast wild forest of Avaise, protected as a ZNIEFF. This very comfortable cottage boasts a warm, country feel with contemporary accents, blending tradition and modernity, enhanced by the soul of the original building (tiled floors, fireplace mantel, staircase, unusual stone sink... period).
