Villa Madeleine – Provençal Charm with Private Garden 🌿☀️

Villa Madeleine is a completely independent house located on a large enclosed estate, ideal for a stay between the sea and the mountains. Spacious and comfortable, it offers a bright living-dining room that opens onto a large terrace through wide glass doors. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, allowing you to easily prepare your meals. Two bedrooms with 160x200 cm beds provide a pleasant space to rest. The bathroom features a walk-in shower, and the toilet is separate. A small covered terrace completes the relaxation areas.



Outside, you will enjoy a large fenced garden accessible through a gate, with private parking for two to three vehicles. A ping-pong table is available, as well as a charcoal barbecue for convivial meals. Pets are welcome.



The villa is located in a peaceful, rural setting, yet close to many points of interest: typical hilltop villages, Lake Saint-Cassien, the Verdon Gorges, as well as Cannes, Grasse, Nice, or Monaco. Public transport is within walking distance, and a tennis court is about fifteen minutes away on foot.



Committed to an eco-friendly approach, the property produces part of its electricity with photovoltaic panels. The single-level interior is easily accessible, and instructions are provided to facilitate waste sorting.

The property was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. There was a lack of mugs for cups of tea and hot drinks. The property could probably do with a bit of updating. We loved the town of St Cezaire, so picturesque with plenty of places to eat. Our one huge disappointment was the distance to the pool. The listing states that the pool is 50 metres away so, we assumed that this meant it was at the bottom of the garden. However, it was actually 2 properties away, a distance of over 200 metres! This meant going out of the property grounds, past 2 houses and into the pool. Whilst the pool was lovely and quite private, it meant that, if we wanted a drink or the toilet, we had to traipse back to the house. Being so far away, I needed to use my wheelchair to get to/from the pool. Our 12 year old granddaughter was not able to spend as much time in the pool as she would have liked because someone needed to be at the pool with her whereas, if the pool was in the grounds of the cottage, we could have overseen her swimming without the necessity of being poolside.

The pictures in the description is misleading, I.e. the first picture of the pool is not on the property, but is situated two houses down the road on the owners property. What made us stay was the fact that we only had four nights and was having field days to Monaco, Nice and Cannes. Owner was friendly and very nice.

Leuke gîte, zeer hygiënisch, goed uitgerust!Met spijt vertrokken! Airco werkte perfect, wat nodig is bij een hittegolf! Zwembad heeft ons vaak verkoeling geboden. Het stoorde niet dat we hiervoor een minuutje van het huisje weg moesten stappen. Eigenares zeer discreet, maar ook behulpzaam.Huisje beetje gedateerd, maar dat heeft ons niet gedeerd! Wifi soms enkel in de keuken…Qua ligging: Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne is een mooi dorpje, bijna dagelijks vers brood van de bakker, op 2 km wandelen (heen). Zaterdag markt. Voor elke uitstap heb je de auto nodig en heel veel hoogtemeters (constant klimmen en dalen met haarspeldbochten).

Bonne vacances mais il faut beaucoup rouler pour profiter pleinement de la région, le logement était très bien par contre la ville de cezaire sur siagne manque cruellement de commerce et d attractivité. De bons moments malgré tout.
