Escape to this peaceful Industrial Farmhouse Barndominium in Saint George, Ga. that once used to be a Feed Store. With 4 bedrooms and a Huge Loft there are 5 sleeping areas, including a king bed in the master suite, 3 queen beds and a twin bedroom on the lower level and a full-size loft with 2 additional queen beds. Additional twin mattresses available as necessary.

There’s plenty of space for everyone to relax in the open Living room that features 12 foot plus ceilings and an open concept. Our family Television offers Roku and wifi with streaming services so you can keep up with your local entertainment or enjoy a movie night together on the couch. Bluetooth to our large speaker and play your favorite music in the background to set a vibe.

The kitchen has plenty of countertop space for cooking and sharing food, drinks and is relatively stocked. Cooking is limited to stove top burners, electric skillets, a large crock pot, and a small toaster oven for pizzas or side dishes. There is a rice maker, air fryers and microwave for quicker meal preps. There are additional propane burners on the back patio for outdoor cooking. Charcoal grills are welcome. We provide a fully stocked coffee bar with many options for regular, decaf, flavored drinks, and tea. Our bathrooms offer sink and toilet but currently only 2 showers are available on the property. Toiletries and hair dryers are available for your convenience. {Until further notice, the master suite and bath are currently undergoing some renovations which will not prevent reservation, however, the master bathroom may not be useable during your stay until it is completed, so you would have the use of 2 toilets and 1 shower for the full group. Access to an additional shower and bath at adjacent cabin could also be provided until renovations are complete. An update will be posted when completed please see pictures before booking or ask for clarification if you are not clear on accommodations).

The barn stays comfortable year-round with heating and air conditioning. Guests can enjoy a tranquil retreat where soothing surroundings invite rest and rejuvenation. We’ll be available to answer any questions while you stay at our place. This spacious retreat, once the town’s feed store, blends rustic, industrial, and farmhouse elements. It accommodates up to 13 guests, ideal for family or friends’ getaways. With ample parking, it’s set on over an acre of cleared land. Nearby, enjoy the St. Mary's River— boat drop is less than a mile away—with boating, kayaking, fishing, and trails. The Okefenokee Swamp is also just a short drive and offers swamp tours.

St. George is a small town between Callahan, FL, and Folkston, GA. It offers essentials like groceries and fuel and of course your local Dollar General. It’s a prime base for hunting in Fargo and Moniac and hosts The Cherokee of Georgia’s pow wows which are also minutes away.

The property includes space for games, bonfires, and stargazing. For pet owners, we are puppy-friendly: up to 2 dogs under 25 pounds are welcome at an extra fee. A gated yard is provided, but please supervise closely—hawks and local wildlife are present. There are doggie gates in several areas in case you need to close them off from room to room to keep them from roaming the entire building.

If you crave city access, Callahan, FL, is just 13 miles away and offers dining and shopping. For a beach day, Fernandina or Jacksonville Beach is less than 50 miles away. This retreat blends peaceful country living with easy access to the coast and all the nature adventures you could imagine.

Your Host is located in an adjacent cottage on the property and should be available to provide a full-service experience for most of your stay on a 24/7 basis. They are available to answer any questions, tour you on amenities before your stay and provide any special cleaning, services, or supplies you might need during your stay. There are some country quirks on the property and having a guide can be helpful on a whim.

The biggest benefits of staying at our retreat, aside from it's unique construction, is all the open space, room for a big group, and plenty of things to do in the area. It will be an amazing adventure for you and your group. I hope you will come stay with us. We look forward to meeting you.
