La Bigorre Well Cottage - family friendly, heated pool, 30 mins to great beaches

La Bigorre is a small complex of holiday cottages with a wonderful heated pool in a rural hamlet, just 30 minutes from the beaches of Royan, St Georges de Didonne and La Palmyre in the beautiful Charente Maritime. We specialise in catering for families and have a superb range of equipment, toys and games for toddlers to teens. We aim to make holidays easier for parents so they can relax and be at home at La Bigorre. That's why so many of our visitors return again and again!

Surrounded by vines, sunflowers and corn, there's little traffic here, making it a lovely peaceful and safe place to be. Children are well catered for with our fully enclosed heated pool, garden swings, table tennis, pool table, table football, boules, games and DVD library. Alternatively, you may prefer to walk or cycle along the lanes amongst the vineyards and sunflower fields. We have plenty of bicycles (adult and child size) that you are welcome to borrow at no extra charge.

All of our cottages are well furnished and fully equipped with flat screen TV with French and UK free sat television and DVD player as well as lots of other items to make your stay more comfortable.

Downstairs in Well Cottage comprises a spacious living area which looks out onto the main gardens. Wide French doors open into the large kitchen / dining room with wood burning stove. The main bathroom is located downstairs, comprising bath with over-shower, toilet, basin and separate walk-in shower. There is also a separate toilet next door.

Through the kitchen and overlooking the private terrace with garden table and chairs, parasol and barbecue is the second double bedroom, making it ideal for grandparents or those less able to manage stairs.

Upstairs are the master and children’s bedrooms, as well as an en suite toilet and washbasin.

An interconnecting door from the hallway can be unlocked to join with the Farmhouse for larger groups, if desired.

As a guest of this cottage, you'll find an outdoor pool, barbecue grills, and an arcade/game room. The family-friendly cottage also features a garden and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
