Access to the property via a narrow municipal road for 6.5 km then a stone-paved driveway, parking on the property (2 spaces). Gîte on the 1st floor of a renovated old barn (access via an internal stone staircase) where the farm workshop is located: Living room-kitchen with large covered terrace (35 m2) on the same level as the living room, 2 bedrooms (1 double bed 160x200 cm / 2 single bunk beds 90x190 cm), bathroom (shower), toilet, laundry room. Large unfenced grounds available. Perched high above the Combe de Savoie, Envol Safrané takes its name from two of the area's distinctive features: Frédéric's saffron-growing farm and the nearby paragliding launch pad. From the gîte's vast, sheltered terrace, enjoy incredible views of the valley and the Belledonne massif, located in a peaceful hamlet with no through traffic. Nestled on the heights of Saint-Jean-de-la-Porte, in the peaceful hamlet of Montlambert, this cocoon is a true haven of tranquility, with a panoramic view of the Combe de Savoie valley and the surrounding mountains, in a preserved natural setting, between vineyards and Alpine peaks, far from the hustle and bustle. Warm and fully equipped, it will be the starting point to discover the riches of the region, to reach on foot the renowned paragliding site of Montlambert, to walk the Wine Route and taste the typical grape varieties of Savoie at the local winemakers. You can also swim or fish at Lake Carouge, discover the Château de Miolans, reach the ski resorts of Bauges (Aillons Margeriaz, La Féclaz) or Belledonne (Le Collet d'Allevard), or even explore the cities of Grenoble, Chambéry or Albertville.
