Tucked away in the peaceful countryside of Frontenay-sur-Dive, this charming cottage invites you to slow down and reconnect with nature. Surrounded by open landscapes and quiet village life, it offers a relaxed rural setting where days unfold at an easy pace and evenings are best spent outdoors.

Designed for comfort and simplicity, the home features a welcoming living and dining area with a gas stove, along with a fully equipped open kitchen fitted with a cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, and coffee machine. The layout includes two bedrooms, making it well-suited for families or small groups, while a bathroom with a shower, washbasin, toilet, and washing machine ensures everyday convenience.

Step outside, and the experience truly opens up. A private terrace leads into a large shared garden of over 1000 m², complete with garden furniture and a barbecue for outdoor meals. Guests also have access to a heated shared swimming pool (seasonal), play equipment for children, and nearby recreational options such as tennis courts. Parking is available on-site, and the property is pet-friendly, making it ideal for longer, flexible stays.

Een heerlijk vakantiehuisje gelegen aan een gezamenlijke tuin. Gastvrij onthaal en van alle gemakken voorzien! En als kers op de taart het zwembad(tje) waar het heerlijk toeven was. Tijdens ons verblijf tikte de thermometer regelmatig ruim 30°C aan. Heerl8jk gefietst en gewandeld. De hond heeft de riem bijna niet omgehad. Erg weinig verkeer, dus genoten van de rust.

Aankomst verliep heel soepel, routebeschrijving was goed en sleutel konden we gemakkelijk vinden. De accommodatie is een leuk, knus Frans huisje. Prettig koel, in de warmte (buiten 35 graden). Basic inrichting, maar dat was ook waar we voor gekozen hadden. De bedden vonden wij wat aan de harde kant. De accommodatie buiten is geweldig en prachtig. Mooie grote tuin, omheind dus veilig gevoel. We hebben meerdere avonden gebbq'ed, spelletjes en fietsen aanwezig (die laatste in overleg met de eigenaar). De omgeving is geweldig; geen buitenlands nummerbord (auto's) gezien, We begaven ons echt op het Franse platteland. Prachtige kerken en het kasteel van Doornroosje gezien. Genoeg te doen, voor ieder wat wils.

We hebben een mooie vakantie gehad met fantastisch weer! Een grote tuin en (bijna) elke ochtend ontbijt in de buitenlucht. We hadden zelfs de beschikking over een paar fietsen. Het huis heeft een eenvoudige doch smaakvolle inrichting en ligt in een rustige, landelijke omgeving. In de omgeving zelf is voldoende te zien en te doen. Mooi, eenvoudig huisje met alle voorzieningen. De gezellige tuin was omheind, wat perfect was voor de kinderen en de hond. De streek is helemaal niet toeristisch. Je bent er in het echte landelijke Frankrijk. Uniek! De eigenaars van het huisje zijn heel sympathieke en behulpzame mensen. We kregen er een warme ontvangst.
