The Hameau La Clairière has managed to preserve its authentic mountain character, while maintaining a balance between tourist facilities and cultural heritage. The chalet blends in perfectly with its surroundings, while having its own private space and benefiting from shared leisure and sports facilities.
The swimming pool is privately owned by the co-owners and accessible from the 15 chalets that make it up.
Our rates are proposed for 2/5 persons. Beyond that, please consult us.

- Deposit cheque requested 21 days before arrival (350€): we prefer this method rather than your deposit being debited by the booking site and then refunded later. The cheque will only be cashed in the event of a problem and after discussion with you.
- Deposit of 25% at the time of booking
- Two rates: 1) up to 5 people, 2) for more people, please contact us.
- Sheets : 15 € per bed

Great location for local amenities and access to explore the area. We had a fabulous holiday!Parking and access good. We enjoyed using the pool. The property was cosy but with enough space for 5 of us and the children are adult height. The double rooms were a good size. The children (13 and 16) were fine in the single beds upstairs/attic room. 2 showers worked well with plenty hot water. Kitchen had everything we needed for self catering although we did enjoy some meals out in the village.With a bus stop so close we would definitely consider returning for skiing too.

Feedback erster Urlaub in Frankreich

Im Großen und Ganzen hat uns der Aufenthalt gut gefallen. Um es für kommende Gäste noch besser zu gestalten, hätten wir folgende Anmerkungen/ Verbesserungsvorschläge: Vier Personen schliefen in dem Zimmer unter dem Dach. Auf den Bildern des Inserates war nicht ersichtlich, dass dieser Raum nur über die steile Stiege zu erreichen ist und somit auch keinen abgetrennten Raum bietet. Auch war nicht erkennbar, dass die Raumhöhe im kompletten Raum keine Stehhöhe hat. Im Schlafzimmer gegenüber der Eingangstür bestand die Matratze des Bettes leider nur aus einer Art Topper, der auf Holzleisten lag. Dies führte zu Rückenschmerzen bei den Bewohnern.Auch wurde nicht deutlich, ob und welche Bettwäsche mitgebracht werden muss. Auf der oberen Etage befanden sich keine Kleiderschränke. Für 8 Personen war eine einzige Toilette eine Herausforderung. Dies war zwar auf der Internetseiteangegeben, jedoch wurden 3 Badezimmer verzeichnet und wir rechneten mit einem Fehler. Auf der Terrasse gab es zwar 8 Stühle, im Haus musste man allerdings metallische Klappstühle dazu nehmen, um gemeinsam am Esstisch zu sitzen. Die Tischdecke wirkte schon sehr alt und löste sich beim Abwischen immer weiter auf. Gefehlt haben uns in der Küche vorallem Küchenhandtücher. Der Pool hat eine schöne Größe und ist nett hergerichtet. Jedoch war er in der ersten Woche unseres Aufenthaltes grün und undurchsichtig. Nachdem er wieder gewartet worden war, war die Qualität in Ordnung und wir hatten viel Spaß damit.

Nous avons passé un agreable séjour au Chalet "le Frêne". Un petit cocon juste comme il faut pour des vacances ressourçantes. L'emplacement est ideale pour visiter la region et tous les commerces à moins de 5mn en voiture et meme à pied straccessibles.

Le lieux manque cruellement d'entretien. La proximité avec la route, le loir toutes les nuits pendant des heures dans le toit, et le manteau piqueur des travaux des voisins tous les jours de la seconde semaine seront les principaux souvenirs de ce sejour.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans ce chalet! Très propre et soigné, la décoration était vraiment chaleureuse. Les propriétaires avaient même pris le soin de décorer pour Noël :) Très bon contact téléphonique également avec le propriétaire. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter lors de notre prochain séjour !!

Disappointed stay

Not Clean at all. It was cleaned 2 weeks in advance (confirmed by owner), but when we arrived it was full with cobwebs and dust. We needed to reclean ourself, owner didn't want to refund the cleaning cost, so I paid twice. In general too close to the main road, heavy noise. No private pool, neither heated as mentioned. Price is too high versus what you receive...
