On the Grand Bé, you can pay a posthumous visit to the famous Malouin writer Chateaubriand. Other defensive elements to appreciate outside the walls and on land, the fort of the city of Alet and the Solidor Tower. Saint-Servan is also the starting point of a beautiful walk facing the Rance river and the walled city.
