For the holidays, in a small hamlet in the mountains Dijon in the heart of Gold Coast (the country of the Seine and Tilles) ranked Regional Natural Reserve.
For rent in a nice independent house:
An apartment on the first floor of 93 m2. Fully equipped (17 m2 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom 14 m2, 1 living-dining room 48 m2 with a fireplace wood fire, 1 bedroom (bed 140) above the living room: 9 m2 and 1 bedroom (140 modular bed 2 beds of 70) over the bathroom: 6 m2 (these two rooms are separated in the same apartment) 1 typical Burgundian terrace (Bourguignonne slab under a shed and flat tiles. Louis Philippe fireplace with barbecue) with its garden of 100 m2.


As part of the host table and order, Danielle can cook up some Burgundian specialties according to your tastes, in a beautiful dining room decorated with drainer its cheese, its French ceiling and fireplace.
The all-inclusive menu from 40 Euros per person.

Lovely gite in a tranquil rural situation

This is a lovely gite. It's located in a small hamlet which feels like it's miles from anywhere, yet it's only about half an hour's drive from the centre of Dijon. The gite is in a converted barn, accessed from a small courtyard. It's been beautifully restored with a Renaissance feel to it - lots of carved wood and tapestries, with the two bedrooms occupying galleries above the main living areas. It's very charming. It's also very well equipped. In addition to the gite itself there's a covered area where you can sit in the shade and make yourself a barbeque if you fancy. There's lots to do around here - Dijon itself is full of things to see, with Beaune only a bit further away. There are lots of chateaux and abbeys around (Fontenay Abbey is brilliant - don't miss it), and of course all the Burgundy/Cote d'Or vineyards too. It's a lovely part of the world. Jean-Dominique and Danielle are good hosts - Jean-Dominique is very knowledgeable about the area and will suggest lots of things for you to see and do - he clearly has a passion for the region and is very happy to share it with you. You'll need a bit of French to talk to him though as he doesn't speak english. Overall, excellent. And very good value too.

Die Gastgeber waren ausgesprochen herzlich und nett und haben sich sehr viel Zeit genommen, um uns auf verschiedene Highlights in der Umgebung hinzuweisen. Wir haben uns sofort sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt. Vielen Dank Danielle und Jean-Dominique!Die Gegend ist sehr schön. Es ist abgelegen und ruhig.Die Ferienwohnung hat eine sehr reichhaltige Ausstattung.Wir waren im Spetember dort. Die Tage wurde etwas kĂŒhler und wir haben es leider nicht geschafft, die Heizung zu aktivieren, so dass wir Abends etwas gefroren haben.

What a shame


Positive:- Location is great for explorations in all directions. Dijon is close and the landscape is beautiful. - Shower works well. - It is not expensive. Negative: - The big problem is that the house was dirty. We had dust and cobwebs with spiders and dead insects everywhere. There were even several DEAD AND LIVING INSECTS IN ONE OF THE BEDS !!We appreciate it is an old house in the countryside. But a full basic cleaning can be expected before guests arrive? It felt like nobody had cleaned for months after the winter. Even the shower showed stains on the handles. So really no effort made!We discussed it with the owner and the sheets were changed; but even then we found a bug under the mattress cover. Nothing else seemed to be cleaned
The house could be quite nice if the antique furniture would be placed in an environment which you actually want to touch. We cleaned each cup and plate because they just were dusty. What a shame as the views outside are gorgeous. Neutral: The host‘s historical explanations (over 1 hour) are interesting, but a lot to digest. The hint to a website on where to find flea markets (no pun intended) was very helpful though. - One of the departure gifts was an „antique“ salad server which came in a disgusting old box with - no surprise - a dead insect in it. In case of issues with this review: we have pictures of all things stated above. Nevertheless we still very much enjoyed our stay in Burgundy!

Wunderschöne Wohnung in ruhiger Lage

Die Wohnung ist wirklich ein Traum, rustikaler Natursteinbau, ĂŒberkomplett ausgestattet, mit stivlvollen AntiquitĂ€ten und Kunst geschmĂŒckt, großem Tageslichtbad und Garten mit Terrasse. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und extrem zuvorkommend. Es scheint keine Fragen zur Umgebung zu geben, die Jean-Dominique nicht beantworten kann. Einen ReisefĂŒhrer kann man getrost daheim lassen. Die SchlafrĂ€ume sind jeweils auf einer zum Wohnraus offenen Mezzanine untergergebracht, mit sehr steilen Treppen. Einigermaßen beweglich sollte man sein, dann ist das kein Problem. Das Dorf Bordes Pillot selbst ist klein, es gibt vor Ort absolut nichts. DafĂŒr die die Lage hervorragend, man wohnt im GrĂŒnen und ist doch in 10 Minuten beim BĂ€cker, in 20 Minuten im Supermacrkt und in 30 Minuten mitten in Dijon.

Ruhe und Erholung in spektaktulÀrem Ambiente

Die Wohnung ist eine Maisonette und außergewöhnlich mit erlesenen, teils antiken Möbeln bestĂŒckt. Es ist sehr viel Platz und wir haben uns rundum wohl gefĂŒhlt. Waschmaschine und Trockner sind vorhanden und unser Sommerurlaub von 3 Wochen hat hier viel Spaß gemacht. Die Ruhe ist einzigartig fĂŒr StĂ€dter und im Umland sind die verschiedensten Ausflugsmöglichkeite von Aktivurlaub, bis relaxt am See liegen, sowie Sightseeing, alle möglich. Unsere Vermieter waren sehr hilfsbereit und haben uns bei der Gestaltung unserer AusflĂŒge bestens mit Rat und Tat zur Seite getanden. Das war toll, selbst, wenn man kein Französish spricht und die VerstĂ€ndigung ĂŒber DeepL ging. Nochmals ganz lieben Dank an Danielle und Jean-Dominique. Wir waren begeistert und können diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Ferienwohnung in Bordes Pillot/Burgund

Unser Aufenthalt in Bordes Pillot - Saint-Martin-du-Mont/F hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Der Ort ist ruhig lĂ€ndlich gelegen. Die Ferienwohnung war in einem separaten Haus mit einer sehr geschmackvollen stilvollen Innenausstattung, dazu ein schöner Panoramablick auf die wundervolle Landschaft Burgunds. Am besten gefiel uns die herzliche Gastfreundschaft unserer Wirtsleute Madame u. Monsieur Bodo, die sich stets große MĂŒhe gaben, uns einen angenehmen Aufenthalt bei ihnen zu gestalten. Wir erhielten eine gute EinfĂŒhrung ĂŒber die Geschichte des Departements d'Or von Monsieur Bodo und stets gute Tipps fĂŒr unsere TagesausflĂŒge. Der Abschied fiel uns schwer und wir können den dortigen Aufenthalt allen Interessenten sehr empfehlen!

bon hébergement, dans un hameau super tranquille, en altitude (600m) la journée il peut y avoir des passages d'engins agricoles mais c'est normal ce sont des agriculteurs qui travaillent!!!! super bien accueilli par Danielle & Jean Dominique, le lendemain matin , discussion autour du petit déjeuner (offert), avec carte de la région et un Stabilo pour identifier les endroits intéressants, aprÚs c'est aux vacanciers d'organiser leurs vacances. mais toujours un trÚs bon contact avec les propriétaires, nous avons passé de trÚs bonnes vacances grùce à eux encore merci DR

RÚve ou réalité à vous d'aller voir!

Accueil débordant de sympathie par Jean Dominique et Danielle. TrÚs disponibles et répondent à toutes nos demandes. Sommes arrivés un dimanche soir et deux assiettes froides nous attendaient dans le frigo!....C'est rare une telle délicatesse. Pour les infos sur les sites à vister, les balades à faire, Jean Do est fantastique. Maison trÚs confortable avec un style "ancien" un peu déroutant au début mais tellement intéressant. Voors: heerlijke buitenruimte met meubilair, goede plek om te BBQ-en, rustige omgeving, geen last van overmatig verkeer, op redelijke afstand voldoende mogelijkheden om het e.e.a. te bezoeken, geen winkels in de nabijheid. Tegens: veel traplopen bovenwoning, zeer smalle wenteltrappen naar de slaapruimtes, huisje niet geschikt voor gasten die slecht ter been zijn, geen mogelijkheid in het huis voor het opbergen van (vakantie)kleding, donkere woning en inrichting zeker bij slecht weer niet prettig als je in de woning moet vertoeven.

Rundum zufrieden 😃

Wir haben ein mit ganz viel Liebe gestaltetes und eingerichtetes BauernhĂ€uschen vorgefunden. Das Haus steht gleich neben dem Haus von Danielle und Jean-Dominique. Ausreichend Platz fĂŒr 4 Personen. Das Dorf ist Ă€ußerst ruhig gelegen. 7 km zum BĂ€cker, 15 km zum Supermarkt und Tanken. Man kann herrlich entspannen, Rad Fahren, die SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten des Burgund anschauen und die SpitzenkĂŒche Frankreichs genießen. Ist jedoch alles nichts im Gegensatz zur Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft von Danielle und Jean-Dominique. Solche liebenswerten Menschen als Vermieter sind wir noch nie begegnet. Und das ohne französisch Kenntnisse. Es geht alles! DANKE FÜR DIE SCHÖNE ZEIT!

LĂ€ndliche Idylle

FĂŒr alle, die die Stille lieben, ist das der ideale Ort. Nach Dijon nur eine gute Viertelstunde Autofahrt. Die Ausstattung ist einfach, aber Jean-Dominique ist auskunftsfreudig und gibt gute Tipps ĂŒber die SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten in der Umgebung.

woning voldeed geheel aan onze wensen

Onze gastheer en gastvrouw deden hun uiterste best om het naar onze zin te maken. De woning was ruim, schoon en goed gelegen. De omgeving is erg rustig. Je komt hier tot rust.

Zauberhafte Woche im B urgund

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in diesem herrlich charmant-französischen Haus verbracht. Die Gastgeber waren außerordentlich gastfreundlich. Dank der umfangreichen Geschichtskentnisse von Jean-Dominique haben wir uns noch mehr interessante Orte angesehen als ursprĂŒnglich geplant. Wir kommen gerne zurĂŒck ins Burgund und werden genau dieses Haus wieder buchen!
