At 5 kms from St Cirq Lapopie, classified as a favourite village of the French, the gite la Maison du Cluzel is an old family house (since 1880!), entirely restored in a spirit combining modernism and authenticity. With its interior all in stone and wood decorated with a pleasant decoration, a comfortable equipment...and an impressive old wood oven in the kitchen...this house has a soul, that's for sure ! Outside, you can already imagine yourself taking your meals in the shade of the apple tree, or enjoying moments of relaxation in the pleasant enclosed garden, you appreciate the proximity of the river Lot at 300m (with a slipway for boats), a grocery store at 1km, and the departures of hiking trails including one that leads to the castle of Cenevières (magnificent view ... to do absolutely!). And we love the idea of being able to swim in the river on a supervised beach in the summer only 4 kms away!On the ground floor: large living room composed of a fully equipped kitchen area with built-in units, a dining area and a lounge area with flat screen TV, sofa and armchairs, bathroom with shower and sink, separate toilet. Upstairs: mezzanine converted into a relaxation area / library with an extra bed 80x175 for a child, 2 attic bedrooms, one with 1 bed 140 and the other with 2 beds 90, bathroom (shower, basin, toilet), electric heating by radiators in all rooms. Wifi access. Enclosed grounds of 400m² with garden furniture, terrace with garden furniture and sheltered by an awning. Attached village house on one side with independent entrance.
