A great place to stay!!!

We had a wonderful week at this gite. We hated to leave and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area. Katy was a great host. She was responsive during the booking phase and helpful during our stay. The house is big enough for a crowd but was still cozy for just the two of us. The kitchen was well equipped with enough of everything to accommodate a crowd and there were lots of sharp knives (which is not always the case). The beds were comfortable and there were lots of towels). The patio and lawn were lovely for relaxing and dining. The house is located in a residential area so it’s peaceful but it’s only a couple of minutes from D786 so it’s easy to get everywhere. Couldn’t ask for anything more.

An excellent, High-end, tasteful, well appointed, property with a great view of the bay.

Communication with the owners is laconic at best. But don't let this put you off. This house is expensive but very good value. It has a wonderful garden view of the bay. The house is clean on your arrival and cleaned at the end of your stay. You have some wonderful views from every part of the garden. All the furniture and bedding is high quality. I love cooking and although the kitchen has only one oven and an idiosyncratic dishwasher it has every implement that you could ever want. The house is very quiet. The bay has some super beach walks and a life threatening costal path. Buy a map and you will discover some fantastic walks leading to idyllic small costal villages with fine restaurants. We intend to return. Only 2 hours drive from St Malo.

Ein tolles Haus!

Alles war perfekt! Sebastien & Lucie von Ty Tom Conciergerie haben uns herzlich empfangen und uns das sehr schön gelegene Haus in sehr gutem Zusatnd persönlich übergeben. Die 6 Schlafräume sind jeweils mit einem Doppelbett ausgestattet und toll eingerichtet. Das große Wohnzimmer mit TV (keine Deutschen Sender), großer Couch, Esstisch und Piano (!!!) schließt direkt an die offene Küche an und ist sehr geschmackvoll eingrichtet. In der Küche ist sogar Raclette und eine Crepes Pfanne vorhanden. Auch ein rießiger Kühlschrank mit großem Eisschrank. Am Gasherd ging eine Stelle nicht und der Abzug geht nicht nach außen. Sonst perfekt! Die große Terasse hat einen wunderschönen Blick auf die Bucht. Sogar ein Orangenbaum mit Früchten gab es im Garten, sowie Schaukeln und ne Rutsche für die Kinder. Die 2 Bäder im Haus sind ebenfalls sehr schön. Beide haben Badewannen (z.T. mit Sprudeldüsen) und Duschen sowie Doppelwaschbecken. Die Abflüsse beider Duschen waren bei der Ankunft mit Haaren vom Vormieter verstopft, was wir aber sehr schnell beheben konnten. Das gesamte Haus ist sehr gepflegt und mit viel Holz verkleidet. Das verleiht ihm einen warmen und wohnlichen Charakter, sorgt aber auch für ständiges knarren im Fußboden und z.T. dünne Wände. Das Haus liegt oben am Berg und wir konnten schöne Spaziergänge durch die wunderschöne Natur machen. Zum Strand sind es ca. 6 Minuten zu Fuß den Berg hinunter. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!! Un bon séjour mais nous attendions mieux

Malgré cette note sévère, nous avons passé un bon séjour. Mais certains points structurels peuvent être problématiques pour certains et à ce niveau de prix nous avons été déçus de certaines finitions ou prestations Points forts : - maison atypique et de charme, très spacieuse avec nombreux couchages / très belle terrasse / un équipement complet - Conciergerie efficace et réactif Points d'attention : - le bas de la maison a été transformé en chambres : niveau d'humidité très élevé dans cette zone, suffisamment pour que certains d'entre nous se soient retrouvés sous antihistaminique. - Il n’existe qu’un WC à l’étage. L’autre est dans la salle de bain annexé à une des chambres - Norme enfant : photos explicites mais attention il n’y a pas de protection aux normes sur la terrasse, sur la mezzanine, escalier Nous louons souvent dans cette gamme de prix et nous avons toujours eu des prestations de haut niveau qui n’apportaient aucun commentaire/critique. Nous avons été particulièrement déçus à ce niveau de prix (plus de 3500€ la semaine) : - nombreux matériels en état moyen : plaque 5 feux mais seulement 4 utilisables, parasol cassé, sommier enfoncé, , balnéo non en fonctionnement, robinet extérieur sans tuyau, etc…. - Finitions « surprenantes » : Traces de peinture ou colle à carreau ayant débordée non nettoyées, scotch un peu partout pour faire tenir ou colmater, manque des morceaux de parquets, etc… La conciergerie nous a indiqué en faire part aux propriétaires.

Blick über die Bucht

Das Haus liegt auf einer Kuppe mit fantastischem Blick - vom Garten, von der Terrasse, vom Wohnbereich und aus einem der vielen Schlafzimmer - über die Bucht. Im Oktober sind selbst in der Bretagne die Tage kürzer, die Abende nicht so lauschig, so dass man mehr Zeit im Haus verbringt. Dafür bietet Haus, neben der Terrasse, viel Platz, hat eine große, gut ausgestattete Küche mit Esstisch, einen großen Wohnbereich, sogar ein Klavier (Noten sind mitzubringen). Für kühle Abende kann man den Kaminofen - auch groß - nutzen - rumdrum ein gemütliches, wohnliches Haus mit viel Platz - s. Beschreibung im Prospekt. Die jeweilige Übergabe verlief völlig unkompliziert, die Vermieterin ist nett, hilfsbereit, bei Rückfragen stets erreichbar. Man ist schnell in der "Natur" für Wanderungen, Spaziergänge. Im Dorf gibt es ein Geschäft für Grundbedürfnisse, für größere Einkäufe sollte man über ein Auto verfügen (die Busverbindungen haben wir nicht getestet).

Excellente location et situation idéale

Nous avons passé 2 semaines inoubliables à 9. Les chambres sont spacieuses, la literie et excellente, mais surtout l'espace à vivre est idéal pour des moments entre amis. Le jardin est magnifique, et la vue sur la baie inoubliable. Katy nous a prodigué un excellent acceuil. Nous recommandons sans réserve.

un bateau face à la mer

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cette propriété originale, ultra confortable avec une vue imprenable sur la grève. Prestations intérieures de qualité! Accueille de haut standing! Sympathie, disponibilité et anticipation des propriétaires étaient de rigueur! Ils pensent à tout. Nous recommandons fortement...allez-y les yeux fermés, vous les ouvriraient une fois sur place et la magie opérera ;-)

Superbe location. Maison en bois chaleureuse et bien équipée, on s'y sent vite chez nous.

Location très très agréable: maison en bois chaleureuse et bien équipée. Nous y sommes bien installés, très grand canapé, grande table basse, poêle à bois, grande table, terrasse bois et très belle vue. Tout le monde y trouve sa place, on peut y cuisiner avec plaisir. A 4' de la plage, immense, très chouette pour marcher, courir, chemin des douaniers tout proche. Facile pour visiter la côte de Granit Rose. Katy notre hôte est adorable et acceuillante, et un petit panier de gourmandises nous attendait. Bref, un lieu chouette où on s'y sent comle chez soi, en mieux !

Jolie maison, MAIS...

Gros problème d'isolation... La maison est en bois, et elle a 17 ans. Le bois travaille... Des courants d'air et dans la chambre sous les toits il n'y a pas de radiateur. Ma fille était gelée, elle a très mal dormi et finalement a pris froid. Les chambres au niveau de la salle à manger, ça allait, mais les chambres en entre-sol, nous avions froid également. Possibilité de chauffer davantage avec un poêle à granules, mais on a vite trop chaud. On éteint avant de se coucher et dans la nuit le froid revient. Côté insonorisation, pour ceux qui dorment en entre sol vous serez réveillés dès qu'un occupant sera levé. On entend beaucoup les pas... Dans la salle de bain, belle baignoire pour deux personnes mais le jacuzzi est cassé. Le WIFI gros problème de connexion, il a fonctionné 1 à la fois. Donc si vous voulez consulter vos mails pendant que votre étudiant a besoin du WIFI pour ses cours en ligne, impossible. Enfin, portail et grillage du jardin cassés, donc n'importe qui peut entrer dans le jardin. Pour terminer sur une note positive, maison bien décorée, vue sur le jardin très agréable.

Une semaine superbe!

Nous avons été ravis de passer une semaine dans cette région magnifique et de loger dans la maison de Katy. Elle est très accueillante et il y fait bon vivre! Ses beaux volumes et la répartition des différentes pièces permettent de ne pas être les uns sur les autres. Elle est également très bien équipée! Et cerise sur le gâteau : la vue! Merci encore à Katy pour son accueil et ses précieux conseils pour visiter la région!
