## Emplacement
Once a fishing village, Saint-Raphaël is now a sports and cultural town and a seaside resort popular with tourists. The city offers a great diversity of landscapes and activities and is divided between the old town, the various ports and beaches. The city extends over 36 kilometers of coastline and offers thirty beaches of fine sand or pebbles, from the city center to the borders of the Alpes-Maritimes.
