Charming 50s waterfront villa exclusive sea access terrace garden
The Portus Agatonis villa is exceptionally well located, right on the water, with direct access to the sea. It has 4 bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to 7 people. All rooms open onto outdoor terraces. These include two suites with sea views, one with en suite bathroom, the other with shower room. In addition to the bedrooms, the house has a comfortable living room with full sea views and a separate kitchen. The kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge-freezer and outdoor access.
There are also two separate WCs.
The villa is naturally ventilated by sea breezes, offering comfort and cooling without air conditioning.
Around the house, a large landscaped garden of 5,000 m2 plunges straight down to the sea. Relaxation areas are set out on either side to take advantage of the peace and quiet and the breathtaking scenery, including a beautiful south-facing terrace accessible from the living room and the two suites, as well as a large shaded patio sheltered from the wind. A small private path leads directly to a natural rock platform, perfect for taking to the water.
It's a haven of peace, a magical place where time stands still... This beautiful, charming home will transport you to another world, a delightfully old-fashioned atmosphere full of calm and reverie. Imagine yourself like Robinsons lost on an island... in a setting of Mediterranean vegetation diffusing its subtle fragrances. The gentle sound of the sea and the song of the cicadas barely disturb your sunbathing session on the terrace, or your siesta in the shade of the patio. The sea view is a permanent spectacle, changing at all hours of the day and evening. From the beach at Agay, the lighthouse and the Pointe de la Baumette, to Cap Dramont, the red rocks of the Esterel mountains sparkle in the Provencal sunshine, contrasting with the green of the vegetation and the deep blue of the sky and sea.
As access to the sea is on an unsupervised part of the coastline, children must remain under the supervision and responsibility of their parents throughout their stay.
Geographically, the villa is exceptionally well placed, close to all amenities, the marina and the Agay train station. The Esterel forest paths are within easy reach, ideal for hikers and mountain bikers. The Alpes-Maritimes are just a few kilometres away and Cannes town centre is 40 minutes away by car and 30 minutes by train. The villa offers a perfect base from which to take full advantage of prestigious events and locations such as La Croisette, the Royal Regattas and the Cannes Film Festival, the Valescure golf course, the Corniche d'Or and its legendary coves. A daily ferry service takes you from Saint-Raphaël to Saint-Tropez to enjoy the restaurants, clubs and luxury boutiques without the inconvenience of traffic jams.
For your convenience, bed linen and towels are available for hire:
- 2-seater bed pack: €25/week (sheets, 2 pillowcases, 2 towels + 2 bath towels)
- 1-person bed pack: €20/week (sheets, pillowcase, 1 towel + 1 bath towel)
Also available for hire:
- Beach towel: €6/week
Bath mats and kitchen towels provided.
In order to facilitate fast and efficient communication, a WhatsApp group will be set up as soon as you make your reservation.
On arrival, the concierge will be on hand to welcome you and hand over the keys to the property. A digital inventory of fixtures (photos) will be posted on the group and will serve as proof in the event of damage.
If any damage is found when you check out, the amount of the damage will be deducted from the security deposit according to the priced inventory (presented on arrival).
If no damage is found, the security deposit will be automatically released by the booking platform.
There are also two separate WCs.
