Once a fishing village, Saint-Raphaël is now a sports and cultural town and a seaside resort popular with tourists. The city offers a great diversity of landscapes and activities and is divided between the old town, the various ports and beaches. The city extends over 36 kilometers of coastline and offers thirty beaches of fine sand or pebbles, from the city center to the borders of the Alpes-Maritimes. With all the pleasures of water activities such as sailing, swimming, fishing and diving, waterside walks, as well as a maritime archaeological museum. You can also discover many cultural places such as the old town, the Romanesque church Saint-Rafeu, the Basilica Notre-Dame de la Victoire or the Bonaparte garden.
