This beautiful and large villa classified "Belle Époque" -for 5 adults and 4 children - will enchant you with its panoramic view of the Mediterranean: large living room very bright, large terrace overlooking the sea 180 degrees, 4 bedrooms and garden with multiple Mediterranean species.
It is a villa for lovers of nature and beautiful landscapes, ideal starting point for many sports activities, close to a wild cove and a supervised beach with many activities and six restaurants

LOCATION:
The Trayas is a seaside resort, with its coves and creeks, between Cannes and Saint Raphael, nestled in the heart of the Esterel and the Corniche d'Or.
The Trayas has just been classified «Remarkable Heritage Site».
The Esterel massif is a Natura 2000 site since 1996, protected site without housing.
You will find in the house documentation concerning the sites to visit in the region, maps as well as maps of the most friendly restaurateurs of the surroundings.
A tour of the villa is available on You Tube: «Le Trayas – Villa Les Camélias».
The wifi is accessible and free throughout the house.

DOWNSTAIRS:
You access through an entrance where there is a library with French and foreign literature, children’s books, comics and board games.
On the left is a bathroom with a renovated walk-in shower, and a toilet.
Then you access the living room of about 40m², with a ceiling height of 3m20, with a living room with 2 sofas, an armchair and a large flat screen TV and a dining area offering a large table with chairs for 10 people.
Adjoining the living room, a renovated kitchen, well equipped with a large fridge, dishwasher, oven, microwave, Nespresso coffee makers and filter, toaster and kettle….
Also adjoining the living room, a very pretty veranda "Winter Garden" of the 1910s, ideal to enjoy a magnificent view of the garden and the Esterel.
Finally, a large terrace with rounded shape with columns and a 180° view of the Mediterranean allows you to eat outside and enjoy this magnificent view. We have just installed a new electric awning for lunch in the shade.

UPSTAIRS:

As a hygiene measure, we have implemented since the Covid, the provision of sheets, towels and tea towels
The beds are prepared for you on your arrival!

All rooms are independently air-conditioned.

4 bedrooms (one double) with a ceiling height of 3m50, can accommodate up to 11 people.
The first with a king size bed of 1.80m, an old-fashioned wardrobe and a dresser, has a double exposure to the Mediterranean, including a French window with a balcony and a large window also overlooking the Esterel massif.
The second with a 1.60m Queen size bed, an old fashioned wardrobe and a dresser has the same double exposure with a French window and balcony and a large window.
The third bedroom, small in size, has a double bed with its window.
The fourth bedroom with 2 bunk beds and its large window with sea view.
Another bedroom adjoining the fourth bedroom and separated by a curtain, is located in the turret of the house, with three beds including 2 bunk beds and a retractable bed
A baby cot is also available.
Finally upstairs, a bathroom, with sink and shower cabin and toilets.

The house is non-smoking but a large terrace is available.

Below the house, you will have access to a game room/ library, as well as the laundry room with its washing machine and many garden chairs and baby equipment ( bath, pot,...)

As our villa is old, with rooms on the 1st floor and on a slightly sloping ground, it is unfortunately not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
For other handicap situations, the villa awaits you and we will be happy to welcome you.

THE GARDEN:
Typically Mediterranean with a very nice variety of plants and more than 200 species.
Two garden lounges surround the villa, allowing privacy spaces.
Shaded areas alternate with sunny areas.
At night, lighting makes the garden romantic

ACTIVITIES:
The villa is the ideal starting point for many sporting activities:
Hiking, mountain biking and road cycling in the Esterel, protected site without habitation.
The proximity of the beaches allows to go on foot, without looking for parking space always paying.
The villa is 5 minutes walk from a wild cove, the calanque Notre Dame, with its crystal clear water for pleasant swimming.
Less than 15 minutes walk, the supervised beach of Figueirette with many activities: scuba diving, paddle, buoy, sailing club, jet ski and six restaurants.
Within a radius of 20 kms, you will have the opportunity to practice golf (3 clubs), tennis.
In summer, there is a maritime shuttle from the port of Figueirette, with stops in Théoule sur mer and Cannes: a superb cruise at the foot of the Esterel and its red rocks (Théoule sur mer: 25 mns - Cannes: 1 h).
The TER train, Trayas station 15/20 minutes walk, takes you in 15 minutes to Cannes or Saint Raphael in 18 minutes.

A supermarket, with bakery, French and international press, is 5 minutes walk from the house.

There are many sites to visit in the region:
- La Napoule and its castle
- Cannes with its Croisettes and its steps
- Mougins, Biot and Vallauris offer exceptional cultural venues
- Grasse with its perfumeries Molinard and Fragonard
- The Corniche d'Or in the Esterel
- Saint Raphael

Tender was the night !

We had a wonderful time at this summer rental! The view from the balcony was stunning, we could see the ocean and the mountains in the distance. The neighborhood was great, very friendly and quiet. We enjoyed walking to the nearby shops and restaurants, there was something for everyone. The house itself was spacious and cozy, with many different spaces to offer. We loved the sunroom, and the patio. Each room had its own charm and atmosphere. We felt like we had a different experience every day. This was the perfect place for a relaxing and fun family vacation!

Superbe villa avec vue exceptionnelle

Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse avec sa vue à 180 degrés sur la mer et la petite crique « notre dame » à 7mn à pied. Mr Campion nous a reçu chaleureusement et nous a donné de bons conseils pour le séjour et recommandé de bons restaurants. La maison est un peu vieillissante et mériterait un rafraîchissement mais ce n’est pas le plus important. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

Stort, charmerende, palæagtigt hus med masser af fine detaljer, der vidner om en storhedstid, som ligger nogle år tilbage - og ikke mindst en pragtfuld havudsigt. Gåafstand til flere gode strande, supermarked og 15 minutter til fods til jernbanen til Cannes/ St. Raphael.

Romantisch-antik mit wunderbarer Meersicht an schöner Lage

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Sowohl für Badetage - bis zum herrlichen Kiesstrand in einer geschützten Bucht sind es nur wenige Gehminuten - wie auch als Basis für Städteausflüge (Cannes, Monaco, Nizza, St. Raffael, St. Tropez sind mit dem Auto als Tagesausflüge sehr gut erreichbar). Auf der Veranda hat man eine wunderbare Meersicht. Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Vermieter!

Très belle maison fonctionnelle, de bon gôut avec un jolie et sobre décoration.

Nous sommes satisfaits aussi bien par l'accueil du loueur que par la varanda fermée, les balcons et la magnifique terrasse . Le jardin parait sauvage avec ses nombreuses plantes méditerranéennes mais son petit chemin est tellement agréable à parcourir ! Seul bémol mais important : l'orage qui nous a privés pendant 3 jours de toute connexion, TV et internet .

Overall The Frenchmen are very friendly and service minded! But beware, some drive like crazy - especially the motorcycles! There is a lot to experience; the mountains, the air, the views, the sounds, the smells, the tastes. Don't miss swimming in the Mediterranean - it's a must! Benefits - 2 large master bedrooms, 1 small child room and 1 room with 2 bunk beds devided by by a curtain. - Large living / dining room with tv and sea view. - 2 terraces; one large with sea view and one smaller by the kitchen. - 1 large porch with glass walls (for windy days). Minor setbacks - The wallmounted awning over the main terrace doesn't work. And the portable awning want to fly away... - Nice if the garden got some maintance. - Annoying traffic noise (many houses after this address) Note: we were not bothered by the railway. The French system for garbage and recycling is a bit challanging!
