Excellent stay

Despite it being very low season and most of St Valery sur Somme being shut for annual holidays, we had a lovely time. We were aware beforehand that this was the case. We have stayed at this lovey Gite before and it was fabulous then. Situated in the heart of the town it has beautiful views over the bay and is a lovely cosy fisherman’s cottage. Great facilities and beautifully clean. The check in was as easy as always and we hope to stay again. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay

Stayed at Saint Valery Sur Somme. This is a wonderful place, full of history and plenty of things to do and see. The Gite is clean, tidy, comfortable and handy for everything in Saint Valery. Would love to visit Saint Valery again and also stay at the fisherman's house again.

Perfect little house.

Perfect little house. Situated close to the main shops, bars and restaurants. House had all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Check in was nice and easy and communication from owners was excellent. Would definitely recommend and would love to come back again.

Stunning views

The views from the upper floor windows are wonderful. This bijou fisherman’s house is situated in the heart of the town and close to the restaurant’s and shops, despite this, it’s amazingly quiet and peaceful. The property consists of a spacious living area downstairs with an open plan kitchen at it’s far end and a small shower room off of the kitchen. Upstairs the bedroom contains a double bed and a single bed together with a cupboard and chest containing bedding. Our stay was pleasant and comfortable and Sylvie, responsible for our check in and check out, was lovely. Thank you.

Well situated, compact and clean.

An excellent property, just outside the centre of town and convenient for shops, restaurants and overnight parking. The cottage may be small but its compact, full of character, very well equipped and easy to keep clean.

Week-end trĂšs agrĂ©able en plein cƓur de St-Valery/Somme, la location et idĂ©alement situĂ©e Ă  proximitĂ© de tous commerces, nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueillis trĂšs aimablement par Sylvie qui nous a fait visiter la location et remis les clĂ©s lors Ă  notre arrivĂ©e, logement cosy et trĂšs agrĂ©able, conforme Ă  la description. Nous avons pu profiter de la baie de Somme qui offre de magnifiques balades pour les amoureux de la nature et des beaux paysages ainsi que des restaurants et toutes les spĂ©cialitĂ©s locales, Un peu court en un week-end pour tout dĂ©couvrir, nous reviendrons sans hĂ©sitation!!.

Un moment suspendu dans la Baie de Somme

Le gĂźte, maison de pĂȘcheurs dans le quartier marin, est superbe et convient trĂšs bien pour 2 personnes. Il est trĂšs bien Ă©quipĂ©. A partir de cet endroit, nous avons pu rĂ©alisĂ© des randonnĂ©es tantĂŽt le long de la Baie et de la mer, tantĂŽt dans les terres. Saint-ValĂ©ry est une ville paisible qui offre toutes les commoditĂ©s et un patrimoine superbement restaurĂ© et entretenu. A cette saison, le parking ne pose aucun problĂšme et le forfait Ă  la semaine est correct. Bref, un coin de France Ă  dĂ©couvrir, Ă  redĂ©couvrir.
