La Maison de Mama C: Charming french village home
Charming 4-bed & 3-bath French home from the 1750`s nestled in a small village in the foothills of the Pyrenees. So much character, beautiful decor, your own bar, private terrace with pizza oven. This is a perfect getaway to unwind & unplug to spend time with family and friends.
Enjoy access to the full home, garage & bar / attached building.
Nestled in the foothills of the Pyrenees is the pretty village of Sainte-Colombe. The Village includes a lovely new local grocery store, pizza shop that’s looking to open spring ‘23 & a backyard style dinner spot open in the summer months.
We`re 5 minutes down the road from Lac Montbel, a stunning lake with Mountain views and loads of walks & hikes. Twenty minutes north takes you to Mirepoix, a charming Medieval village with one of France`s most notable Market which runs rain or shine every Monday. You`re surrounded by villages spotted throughout the Ariège that all have their own charm and offerings.
We`re within an hour of Carcassonne & the Pyrenees from castles, to mountains, to natural springs, this area, truly has it all!
It`s necessary to have a car in the area, which will allow you to explore all the secret spots in the area. There`s free parking on the street, which alternates every 2 weeks. There`s a large parking lot at the end of the street for larger vehicles. Please do be mindful of the `no parking` signs marketed on peoples garages.
Maison de Mama C is filled with Memories of Mama C who sadly passed away from Cancer in 2020. To remember her a % of every booking will go to the Spring Valley Community center for Cancer fund. We will maintain an update on total amount raised here.
Donated to date, $500 has been donated to the fund, thank you all for staying with us!
